You're pushing me too far [active]
Who: Simca and Kazu
What: Random meeting.
When: Post-adult, during curse.
Where: City.

She was stomping her foot, more out of nerves than anything else, as quiet and blank as him. Kazu-- Kazu was busy watching Simca with wary eyes; because even if he trusted Hanatarou thoroughly with his healing, making a cripple walk was sort of... high-collared? Yeah. That was the word for it.

His hand was gripping the base of the reindeer's antlers, leaning against it and forcing himself to focus on Simca. Damn, but this time had been rather messed up. Two more deaths, that speech Sora did, Akito disappearing. "... How's it feel?" Careful, careful, treading on thin ice in the start of Spring. To think, the last time they'd been 'alone' together had been stuck under one Sano Yasuyoshi. Huh. That had been an eye-opener, alright.

Arms were wrapped around the leopard's neck and her breathing was slow, strained even. Not used to being on her legs. Well, not used to being at this age on her legs. (That childhood thing -- those memories -- yeah, those were going to be blocked out. Especially with what she did with Sorajkllkl. No, don't want to think on that.) She closed green eyes for a moment and pushed herself back to her feet. The snow leopard cocked his head to the side, expression would've been worried if it was possible for such a creature. She smiled a little at him, before standing on her own. Her knees shook and her legs wobbled, but she was standing.

"I-it's good. Hard but worth it."

The leopard padded over to the woman and rubbed against her hip, keeping her balanced in case she fell again. Felt like it did back home. Dressed in a tiny yet oversized Seifuku, proper dominatrix boots like ATs on. Yeah.. was all good.

A shaky grin, hat pushed up as far as it went without falling off, and Kazu was falling back a step, ATless but equipped with a ride anyway, waving his hand half-heartedly.

"Should be worth it. What do you want to do, first?"

There was a side of a desperate laugh to his words, but he shook the feeling off, getting back fully to his feet to stuff his hands into his sweatshirt, interested. There was a shuffling of hooves, and the reindeer - he still hadn't gotten a name out of her - was ahead of him, head drooped low, like some sort of dog looking for a scent. Huh. Funny. Even his... 'animal' was messed up.

Back to Simca. "Just walk around...?" He'd ask if she wanted to take those ATs off- they looked badass, sure, but hard to start out on-- but then again, if she didn't want them, she wouldn't wear them.

"Whatever you want to do~"

She hummed, a little forced but nonetheless, it came easier than it normally would, pink locks falling over her forehead and curling around her cheeks. "I don't' care either way, as long as we can keep moving." And she was staggering, trying to walk ahead with the leopard following cautiously, spotted tail flicking side to side. She would stumble every few steps but then catch her stride, turning and looking at the blonde with that cheerful expression.

"Walking around sounds good~ We can get to know each other better, Kazuma-kun."

The successor and all.

"Hey, we should celebrate you getting your legs back. I'm just here to..." Think think think. He trailed after, the reindeer bringing up the rear with a toss of its head. Finally, he just ended up shrugging - even though it was pointless, with Simca in the front.

Which was good. Because that way, if she had a serious stumble, it wouldn't just be a three-foot-tall leopard to catch her. New legs weren't meant to get scrapped up.

"... To guide, I guess. But you've scoped the city, haven't you?" Or maybe she hadn't. He hadn't really wanted to pay much attention to how Nike and them had been acting--- so he hadn't. Oh well. Maybe she was right, and the whole thing'd start over again. Even though Kazu had a feeling the whole purpose of this was for her to get used to her legs (which was true) and he was only really following because he didn't have anywhere else to go (Ikki and Ed were racing in the stadium, something he... honestly didn't feel like going to).

A glance around, more thinking. ... Target spotted! "Aren't those hard to walk in?" They looked like something out a ... dominatrix site, whoa.

"Aaah~ Nothing to celebrate."

She corrected, pace growing more steady but it hurt. It hurt to walk a bit, like when you stressed out your muscles and had to use them almost immediately after. But she had been through physical therapy for non-working legs -- this was nothing. "Hmm? Yeah, I suppose so. My child self likes to look around, so she spent a lot of time just wandering." And looking for Kilik. But they could never be apart for too long, or that was what she'd like to think.

Simca glanced back at the boy and then stopped, the leopard circling around her. Okay, steadying herself on one leg; she could do this. She stretched out a leg, displaying the sleek leather and the wicked heel at the end of her boot, grinning.

"Not at all. Despite how they look, they're made for comfort. These are my ATs after all."

Kazu wasn't sure whether his worries were 'eased' or not - he remembered all of those people who just came from the hospital were supposed to rest for a few days before doing anything like Simca was. Otherwise the... muscle would tear or she'd get charlie horses for days or something. But, really, there wasn't much of a way to tell the Swallow no, especially when she turned around and gave proof of being fine by lifting her leg relatively high. That either had to hurt or be the easiest thing in the world.

And even if it was hurting, it'd be sort of rude not to notice how frikking sharp those heels were, and to remind himself of Simca's amazing aim.

"... Seriously? Are they, uh... powered up or something?" Besides having a dagger stuck in the back? They were almost as unlikely-looking as Sano's shoe-ATs.

Okay, that was starting to hurt and she pulled her leg back, wobbling a bit and the leopard was immediately behind her, the woman leaning against him and letting out a haggard breath, shaking her head. Not doing that again for a while. But for now, she just rested against the large cat, watching Kazu with those emerald green eyes.

"Not really."

A shake of her head.

"They're just normal ATs. Nothing really special about them." They were made for durability and speed, sure, but it wasn't like she had a Regalia or anything. Oh no, not her. She would've been bitter about it if it bothered her more.

"Got it."

With the leopard helping her out, Kazu took some time to look around at the place they'd - have to - stop at, at least to make sure Simca didn't maim her leg again already. Funny how something like walking could send a person into a wheelchair; or, at least, that was how Kazu saw it.

He also saw something he could possibly help with. The little puppy eager to please, that was him-- "Are you.. hungry at all?" A motion to the near-by stores, restaurants and shops alike, before he rocked back on his heel again, idly keeping an eye on the reindeer sniffing around the street. There were never any cars around when you didn't really want them, it seemed. More ways the city helped them out?

Who knew? The one with the antlers were busy plodding back, long neck extended more toward Simca than Mikura, as if she didn't quite trust the 'small' cat with supporting anyone.

Simca grinned, rubbing the large cat behind the ears and he flicked his tail, making a deep, rumbling purring sound, causing the pink-haired woman to laugh a little; the leopard was so familiar, it was darling. Of course, that was the point though, after all? She glanced around at the buildings as Kazu motioned and then nodded her head. "Yeah, a little bit. What about you, Kazuma-kun? Are you hungry?"

Because his health was more important than hers after all.

The leopard didn't seem to mind her resting her weight on him, so she didn't move, just turning her gaze towards the reindeer who was peering towards the girl and her pet with an expression that Simca couldn't figure out. Well, she wasn't friendly enough with reindeer to know.

The animal eventually tossed her head, trotting back to Kazu and nudging at his arm until it was looped over its back, a half-distracted shrug given to Simca. He didn't really get why it would matter- if Simca was hungry, even if he wasn't, they'd still go. "Enough, yeah. Let's see what they have?"

But he waited, anyway, right outside the door; there was no way he was letting the other walk like she'd tried on the way out of the hotel, a nervous edge to his waiting making it clear he was just waiting for the word to help her. Not that Kazu really expected the other to ask for help. That just wasn't a... Swallow thing to do.

Shifting, she pushed herself back up, staggering a little but not letting that bother her, moving towards the door where Kazu was standing. Steps were slow, tentative, and the leopard was behind her, hovering close in case she fell and broke again. She refused to let that happen. She wouldn't break -- not this time. Reaching the door, she waited for Kazu to open it, smiling at him.

"Fuu, Kazuma-kun? So what did you think of the... reliving your childhood, na?"

Idle conversation. Yeah, she didn't like silence.

And open it he did. Followed her right in, looking around quickly in a small fit of paranoia, before the reindeer almost stepped on his foot and he snapped back to reality.

"Huh?" Was the immediate reaction to that question ("reliving your chilldhood" was rarely a question asked literally), before he caught on and shuffled a bit, watching the wall like it was the most interesting thing in the world. "It was... alright." He'd forgotten, sort of, how weak he'd been. And reminded how that hadn't changed much in the years between. "Too soon to say, I think."

Not that shit wasn't already hitting the fan, but that wasn't really about him, anyway. In a sudden thought, Kazu coughed, shifted, and mumbled, "Er, I didn't really mean to say you were weird, though. Really." Pause, switch topics.

"How was yours?" There had to be some positives to what he'd seen on the network.

Simca strode in, trying to keep her pace strong and sturdy but it was hard and she would wince a little, but she was getting better, really. Felt better than before -- hurt less, that was for sure. Grabbing a chair, she sat down and just looked at him, as if she was waiting for him to order for them. The snow leopard curled around her feet, expression almost smug if he could. She laughed at his comments, pink locks curling around her face at this. How cute, she had already forgotten about that~! "It's alright, Kazuma-kun. I was quite weird so you were just telling the truth!"

A giggle, so similar to her younger self now -- the passiveness, the stoicism that held her down while she was in the wheelchair was fading.

"Mmmn, good, good." Minus the parts that involved her watching someone get massacred. Or the parts with her and the younger Sora or her time with Nike. She wouldn't admit that she enjoyed the time they spent together. Her smile faded at that, though didn't disappear completely.

"That's good." And he didn't say anything else, partly because the reindeer -- Vacuus, came that voice that made him look around for some glowing figure that looked vaguely like Jesus or something - was bumped by a waiter, sending a horrible chill up his spine, and partly because there really wasn't much else to say. Simca and him didn't know each other very well; what could they talk about?

That same waiter who'd bumped into Vacuus delivered their food, nevermind the fact neither of them had ordered: a steak for the swallow and some sort of broth that didn't look too edible for the 'heir.' He pulled up a seat, sat down on the edge, wondering what, exactly, people said in situations like this.

'Situations' as in 'getting stuck in another world for over half of a year, meeting with someone from the future who recently had been a heartbroken child.' Not too many rules on what to do during those situations.
