Who: Demyx [info]melodywaters and Whoever else shows up
What: Demyx goes to the beach to play music and be close to his element. He misses it.
When: Today!
Where: The Beach!
Warnings: NO IDEA! TBA!

It had pretty much been an open invitation. He posted that he wanted to go to the beach and invited anyone to join him, so Demyx had changed, thanks to his bottomless closet, and then vanished in a cocoon of darkness.

A dark empty space ripped through nothingness at the beach, as if a dark hole had been punched through the air and the Nobody stepped out, the darkness vanishing behind him. He was ever so thankful he kept his Nobody powers even in this bizarre world. He smirked, pushing his blue-tinted sunglasses up the bridge of his nose and dropped his things on the sand. He had abandon all clothes aside from those sunglasses and a pair of blue swimming trunks.

It felt so good to be near water again! He could feel it, even if the ocean were still a few yards away. The rock and roller lifted his hand and in a flash of light and bubbling sound of rushing water, summoned his sitar. He swung the large instrument around with ease and rested it on his knee before plucking at the strings expertly.
"Dance water, dance!"
No sooner were those words spoken before bodies started to rise from the crystal clear sea water. Bodies made of water of course. The forms actually sort of looked like their maker, same form and body structure, but all features lost since they were...well...water. And of course the did as ordered and began to dance to Demyx's music.

"Woooooow!" Came a voice behind him.

Suddenly right behind the probably startled nobody, Chidori stood there, camera in hand, rapidly taking pictures of the amazing water creatures. She was wearing a yellow one piece...or so it looked like. She was just short for her age, it was actually a two piece.

After a few more quick shots form her small camera, she looked up at Demyx. "How did you do that?"She asked...and, considering all she had seen at this point, she was willing to believe whatever would come out of his mouth.

Shiro had not really followed the invitation, per see, but rather decided to stroll around town. He had been far too long within the hotel. After all, he had never really stopped and lived in a place. Lived, being the key word. He was a Death God, someone - something - that carried the souls of the deceased to the other side. He had been born that way, made for that sole purpose, and this whole "living" thing was exceptionally weird and new to him. He had still maintained part of his powers - he could see departing souls and he could disappear and appear at will, he could travel around and float, and probably could appear in people's dreams - he hadn't tried that one yet - but... he couldn't help anyone anymore.

His purpose was... gone.

So he had started to get acquaintance with people around the hotel. It was hard, his people's skills were null and he was a bit too naive to understand how things worked, but...

Well...

He was trying.

And when he noticed Demyx making all of those replicas out of water, he stared in awe. He had never seen anything like that - anything at all. He was floating a little far behind the sitar player, blinking and enjoying the show in complete silence.

Demyx was started a little by the random little chirping of some strange little girl from behind him. He plucked a sour note on his sitar, causing his water duplicates to halt in their dance. The rock and roller glanced over his shoulder and quirked an eyebrow at the strange little girl, not yet noticing Shiro standing slightly further away.

"Erm...I just...can." He didn't really explain it, nor could he. Demyx had always had control over the water and music, ever since he could remember...which wasn't THAT long ago, but still.
"See, looky."

He nodded towards his total of five water clones and began to play his sitar again, and the forms again began to dance.

Mello wasn't entirely certain why he'd gone. No, that was a lie. He'd gone because he loved the beach, no matter who was there, and he hadn't been since it had been warm enough to go. Dragged Ed along, too, because it was about time they got out and had fun together. And he guessed he and Demyx were kind of friends, even if he wasn't very bright.

He hadn't expected to see this, though. It was impressive, more so than he'd really wanted to admit. Mello stopped where he was for a moment and just stared. Though it might interfere with swimming. Still, made the guy more useful than he'd thought, too.

Dragging his eyes away, he continued walking, looking for a good spot to sit down. He'd even brought shit, not because he was such a considerate guy but because he figured everyone else was too idiotic to think of bringing drinks of anything.

It was going to be a pain in the ass trying to get the sand out of his automail after all this, but Edward had decided that it would be worth it going with Mello though he didn't know Demyx, and he wasn't sure who else was going to be there. But that had never stopped him before when he wanted to go somewhere so he just prepared himself for the inevitable trouble of de-sanding his automail and grabbed himself a bathing suit from the closet despite that he wouldn't be doing much swimming.

When they finally got there, Edward was just as surprised to see what was going on even though he was plenty capable of doing it with alchemy. That wasn't alchemy, though, and even knowing that there were people in the building that could do those kinds of things without the help of alchemy was still surprising.

He was still watching the dancing water figures when Mello started walking again and he hurried to catch up, looking around for somewhere to spread out their towels. "Over here, okay?" he asked, nodding to a patch of sand.
