There were a few things you got used to after living under a Wanijima roof for a few years. (especially if you were a freeloading employee), one of which being incredibly early hours prompted by an insane racket to help you greet the day. Though, Akira had been getting somewhat used to the lack of set hours in this place and did his utmost to ignore a certain Aeon Clock's attempts to rouse him from his sleep. Naturally, it didn't work, because habits are hard to break and despite his best efforts it was sort of hard wired that when someone wanted you awake you woke up or got pelted with a few rubber bullets.

Hauling himself out of bed Akira pulled on some clothes blearily, stumbling over to the door, still blatantly half-asleep - though lucky for him no one was around to call him on the fact. After a considerable amount of fumbling with the lock he pulled the door back only to be greeted by a pile of.. person on his doorstep.

"Kaito-nii?" he mumbled, rubbing at his eyes lazily before giving the silver-haired male at his feet a quick glance over. "This is getting to be a bit of a habit.." the brunet muttered to himself. Honestly? The sight of one Wanijima Kaito slumped over all beat-up and broken was not a new one and he'd become somewhat accustomed to it since he got here, but still, that didn't make it any less of a big deal.

	Kaito's world was full of pain when he woke up. Fuck, how many bones did Sano manage to break this time? He thought as he forced his eyes open, greeting a ceiling that was increasingly familiar. Wait, ceiling. He was in a bed? "...Where am I?" (Reply to this) (Thread)

After hunting through the closet for some decent medical supplies (despite his severely lacking knowledge in that department) Akira had come to settle on the floor beside the bed; save squishing the injured in the event he dozed off, you understand.

Once he had shown some semblance of consciousness, however, the teen climbed to his feet beside the bed, ignoring the question at hand in case Kaito felt his usual argumentative self and instead opting for a, "How're you doing?" Best to keep peace, after all. At least until Akira could figure out how badly he was hurt, then it was a matter of personal opinion and moral conduct.

"Just...peachy," Kaito deadpanned, before his brain registered that he was in Akira's room, in Akira's bed, which frankly was the first and the last place he wanted to be in at the moment. Turning to his side, Kaito gritted his teeth as he tried his best to push himself up, hissing as his body protested against every movement.

He was going to kill Sano. Beating him up was one thing. He had practically asked for it anyway. But leaving him with Akira? God, he swore once he got his hands on that flamer, the bastard was going to regret this. Very much.

	"Funny, you really don't look it." Akira muttered, watching Kaito be as stubborn as usual. It wasn't surprising, much alike the rest of tonights events thus far, but it still wasn't a good thing. Kaito snorted. As if he was going to tell Akira anything about this. He would have thought the rest of the world would have given him that nice touching speech about how big a moron the elder Wanijima was and how their ex-leader should admit to his feelings already. How Akira could admit to feelings that did not fucking exist, Kaito had no idea. But the rest of Behemoth seemed to think a miracle was possible. "None of your business," he shot back, finally pushing himself to a sitting position and looked down at himself.

Fuck, his skin was a mess of black and blue. He wasn't going to be able to make it to work tomorrow. Damn.

Kaito was a brat; at times Akira had found it endearing, a quirk of sorts, but right now his patience on the matter was wearing thin. There were times when you were stubborn and there were times when you weren't and this, in Akira's mind, was one of the few times that you most certainly weren't.. or you could at least pretend not to be for long enough to get some help.

"Where does it hurt most, then?" the brunet asked, quite concerned about the whole matter, though still having to hold back a sigh. This was going to be a long night.

It was on the tip of his tongue to say his heart was where he had hurt most. But before he even said it, Kaito came to the conclusion that it was far too girly a statement and revealed far more about him than he was comfortable with revealing.

"My eyes," he finally said sarcastically, even as he pulled his right leg closer to his chest to rub absently at his ankle. The bone didn't feel dislocated, which was a good thing. But considering the swelling and the pain, it was most likely a sprain. How troublesome. "Fucking get out of my sight. When was the last fucking time you shaved anyway?" The sooner he got out of here, the sooner he could get a ice compress on his ankle.

No, his eyes had not lingered on Akira's face. Not at all.

The late Behemoth chose to ignore that and only fix the older male with a level stare and the faintest of smiles that said "I'm pretty much immune to your bitching, so save your energy and quit while you're ahead".

Pain, that was all it was, making Kaito be such an incorrigible brat in spite of Akira's offers of aid. Shaking his head he settled himself down on a clear space at the edge of the bed, reaching out to place his fingertips tentatively on the ankle Kaito seemed so focused on. If there was one thing Udou Akira knew it was the sight of someone too proud to admit a weakness to someone they held in a certain regard. He'd done it himself a thousand times. "Here?" the teen inquired, regardless of the fact that he wasn't likely to get a straight answer.

"I'll get you some ice." he mumbled, pushing himself off the bed again after all but a few seconds, not wanting to test and see if it was broken himself for fear of doing any further damage ~~again~~ or prompt undue violence or worse yet - awkward, from the Crocodile.

Kaito looked confused. He was used to getting his injuries patched up by Akira, being in the same line of work and living in the same car tend to do that. But that was usually accompanied by cheeky jabs aimed at his fragility despite the big attitude.

It wasn't that Kaito was insensitive to the hurt of the others around him. He could read facial expressions well enough, part and parcel of the job. But what he could not understand was the reason behind it. After all, while Kaito had all the responsibilities of being the elder son, these responsibilities did not come with his parents' love and attention, which were instead directed to the younger prodigal one. After some years, Kaito had simply learned not to assume unless he was specifically proved otherwise.

Which was the main reason why the antics of the flamers and the fluffhead had annoyed him so. Regardless of what Akira did feel or did not feel for him, if Akira couldn't say it himself, there was nothing. Everything meant nothing.

While Akira had moved off to go about his nursing duty, Kaito pulled his shirt off, pressing his fingers down on where his ribs were. Nothing was broken, or dislocated. But the bruising was going to make it painful to even breathe for a couple of days. Fucking hell.

After a decent amount of fumbling through the freezer Akira returned with a couple of ice packs -- proper ones the closet had oh-so-graciously provided the last time Kaito had come back in a mess. Seating himself back on the edge of the bed he offered it in silence, glancing over his now very shirtless boss for a moment, contemplating the plus-points of him having opened all the windows earlier to better ventilate what at the time was a very, very, aphrodisiac gas filled room when the older Wanijima first announced he was coming back (or more simply put, the lack of trying to make any moves on an injured man which would probably only result in broken bones either on his part or his elders at that present moment), before finally speaking again.

"There's no healers around anymore. Willing ones, anyway." the brunet pointed out. "Want me to take you to the hospital, or will pain-killers be alright?" he finally asked, fiddling with the spare ice pack idly, the concern present in his voice. There was no point hiding something like that, after all, not that he expected it to have any effect on Kaito's future endeavors in the getting hurt stakes but it was something. A reminder that he didn't actually want his superior dead, maybe? He liked to think so, even if Kaito never took it as such.

"No hospitals," Kaito replied almost automatically. He hated hospitals with a vengeance. It used to be just a general hatred directed towards doctors nad other scientist types, but after that incident on top of the Sano building where he had to personally drive this bugger over to the hospital, Kaito had decided he have had enough of that place for a lifetime. "Hate the Goddamn fucking hellhole. The only time you will see me in one is if I'm in the fucking morgue."

Leaning forward to take the ice pack from Akira, he let his arm fall with a wince when the movement placed a little too much stress on his hurt ribs. Fuck, speaking of injuries...

"What day is it?!" He demanded suddenly, his face scrunching up in worry. "Have the two stupid fuckers had their stupid battle yet?"
