Random Log is Random
Who: Shuro and Sano
What: Event Planner and Event meet to discuss the specifics of the upcoming concert.
Where: Cafe La Random
When: Sometime in the afternoon
Warnings: Gushy!TruthGas'd!Shuro

Despite the weirdness with the truth serum ("weird" mostly referring to the fact that it had been caused by a building resident instead of the ghosts, as far as she was concerned), Shuro found herself in extremely good spirits as she headed to the cafe, hair pulled back and sunglasses on in that old habit that her manager back home had put her in. Partly because she'd finally reunited with one of her best friends from back home and, despite the fact that she loved all of the friends she'd made here, it was nice to have someone around that had been there with her for some of the important events in her life and who really knew and understood what she'd gone through. The other part of it, though, was, she had to admit, thanks to the man she was going to meet.

Without even a question, Sano Yasuyoshi had offered to handle organizing the whole concert that Shuro had been trying to get off the ground for months, and knowing that she didn't have to worry about figuring out all of those details except for getting the band together . . . It was such a relief off her mind, she hadn't even realized how heavily it had weighed on her. But now that it was gone, she was able to smile charmingly at the hostess of the cafe, slipping off her sunglasses as she gave her name, told her who she was there to meet, and flirted playfully as the young woman showed her to the table her new pseudo-manager was waiting at.

Shuro thanked the hostess and sent her a little wink as he walked away before greeting the man she was really there to meet, "Sano-kun."

"Shuro-kun~" Sano looked up, smiling. Ah...yes, Shuro was quite convincing. And since it was obviously on purpose...well, he'd pretend not to know for a while yet. Really, he'd cheated, with Kaito telling him, and all. Even so, that meant it was fair to play~

Ah, he hadn't had so much work to do in a while. It was nice, to have something to keep his mind off things.

"It's a pleasure to meet you in person~" Why yes, he was mock-kissing her hand. They both knew it was play, and he'd back off on cue, but it was fun, darnit.

"Likewise," Shuro replied with a wry smirk at the man's teasing, waiting until he was done to shift their hands into a proper handshake. "I don't suppose you try to charm all your clients, do you? Or am I just a special case 'cause I gave you something to do other than sit around waiting for the next curse to hit?" she asked, her smile turning playful as she sat down and tucked her sunglasses into her shirt pocket.

"You're special, Shuro-kun, because you're an entertaining individual~" Which, really, meant yes, but Sano knew better than to come out and say it. He rested his face in his hand, smiling merrily. He'd never thought he'd see the day when he actually missed doing business.

"Now, then~ Shall we skip straight to business, or are you going to tell me about this boyfriend of yours~?" Never let it be said Sano wasn't willing to slide some gossip in with work. It was tradition, after all.

"Oh I'm sure there are other 'entertaining individuals' around here. But I guess I shouldn't complain if you'd rather help me out instead o'them."

Shuro grinned at the man, glad to find out that he was just as interesting offline and he was online, though the question was a little curious. She remembered telling Sano that she was taken, but she didn't remember specifying the gender of the someone she was taken by. Not that she exactly minded him knowing and it wasn't exactly a secret, but she would like to know who he'd gotten his information from and what else they'd told him.

"I could," she replied, leaning forward a bit and resting her chin on her fisted hand, "and maybe you could tell me who you've been talking to about me."

Sano laughed, wicked grin on his face. Score one for the homo~ He'd gotten that guess right, then. One could never be too sure, after all.

"Well...the 'boyfriend' was more of a guess, on my part~ Kai-chan--Wanijima Kaito, that is-did mention something interesting, though." Oh, how the mischief shone in those eyes.

"Something about you not being what you look to be, Shuro-kun."

Wanijima Kaito . . . Wanijima Kaito . . . Shuro tried to remember where she'd heard that name before before realizing he had been the guy that Kazu had been telling her should be a backup dancer in the concert. That seemed awfully strange to her, considering she couldn't remember ever having spoken to the man about any aspect of her life before she'd talked to him about the concert. Of course one of the problems with expecting your personal information to stay personal was when half of the building you lived in pretty much knew about it anyway and publically went around advertising it when it was brought up.

It wasn't as if Shuro could deny the truth, though, and as long as Sano was mature and respectful about it (which so far she had no reason to think he'd be otherwise), she just went along. With a bright smile and shifting of her chin onto both of her hands, the singer did that funky little trick that had been a godsend all those years in convincing people she was actually male and changed her voice, shifting it from the lower masculine tone she normally used to something much higher pitched that would be in place coming out of an anime leading lady's mouth.

"Really? I didn't know that Wanijima Kaito-san was so interested in me!"

"I think he's just nosy~" Sano grinned back at her, obviously having way too much fun with this. It had been a while since he'd been able to just be good and impish.

"You're very good at this. I'm not sure I'd be able to tell, if he hadn't said anything." Sano leaned on one hand, just...watching the young woman across from him.

"That is kinda the point," Shuro retorted, voice returning to it's normal pitch and her posture returning to what it had been a moment ago as she smirked at the man. But, of course, still being under the effects of the truth gas, she wasn't able to stop there, "Besides, when you've been doing it as long as I have, you've gotta be good."

She just sighed when she realized what she'd said offered Sano an apologetic smile. "Sorry, that stupid truth gas hasn't worn off yet."

Sano smiled slyly at that, amused. Shuro really was adorable, in a highly amusing fashion. And really, she shouldn't have told him that.

"It's fine, Shuro-kun. Now, then~ I'm curious about the sort of person you'd fall for~ They'd have to be something special, wouldn't they?"

As soon as she saw that expression, Shuro was very much aware that she shouldn't have told him that. It wouldn't have really been a problem . . . if not for the fact that he was asking about something that was just going to make the whole meeting awkward.

"I only ever really fell for two people. The first one was Kei, my bandmate, cousin, and childhood best friend. He used to try to be my knight in shining armor but then turned into a jerkoff once our band, GeSANG, started getting popular. Hitsugaya's got the knight in shining armor thing down, but he's the complete opposite of Kei in pretty much everything else."

Oops. Hi, there, awkward. Sano blinked for a moment, digesting that and realizing a bit too late that this had been a...not so safe question. Time to...try and find a better topic. Move on to safer. Better. Something.

"I...see. Hitsugaya...? I..." Sano thought for a moment. Nope, wasn't connecting the name to a face just yet. "It sounds familiar, but I don't think I've met him..."

Shuro gave the man an apologetic but grateful smile that he was jumping on the not quite so awkward topic instead of asking her more about Kei. "About yea tall," she said, holding her hand up to where his hair stuck up to, "kinda pale, spiky white hair, big blue eyes, got a stick up his butt about nicknames, freezes things when he gets pissed off? You've probably seen him in the gym with Elric if you go by there at all."

Sano blinked, tilted his head and thought about that. White-haired midgets, had he seen any white-haired midgets...? Wait. Hang on.

"...I don't think I've seen him in person, but I have may have spoken to him over the journals." Sano paused for a while, thinking. "...No offense, but he seemed a bit of a, um, stick-in-the-mud. But you'd know him better than I would."

The comment made her chuckle, the singer's smile just turning fond thinking of the shinigami and speaking about him, possibly just a little bit more than she would have normally. "He's a bit of a grumpy gus most of the time," she agreed, "but he opens up more once you get to know him. He's cocky and snarky and thinks he knows better than everyone most of the time, but he usually does anyway. But at the same time he's really humble and he's probably the sweetest guy I've ever met . . . "

By the time she'd stopped, Shuro had begun flushing again.

"You really like him a lot, don't you?" Yes, Sano was very good at stating the obvious. It was a gift.

"Good for you~"

"I love him," Shuro replied, smiling warmly at the man and that was something that she didn't need the truth gas to admit to. After a moment of sitting there lost in thoughts about the shinigami, though, she finally shook herself out of it and smirked at the man she was supposed to be there with. "So, anymore questions, Sano-kun?"

"I think my curiosity is satisfied for now~" He smiled, almost warmly at Shuro, as he toyed with the cross he kept with him. Lord only knew why he still had the damn thing, but it made something good to fidget with.

"So, then."

Well, thank God for that. Shuro nodded and leaned back in her chair getting comfortable again so they could get down to business. "So I hafta ask," she said, "have you ever actually done anything like this before? Not that it's that big a deal, I doubt there's anyone around here that has, but it'd be nice to know how much I gotta work with you."
