| About: | Welcome to Clarion News, a central noticeboard for the Magnificent Seven fandom! This comm mirrors the original and still primary Clarion News community on LiveJournal. Please feel free to duplicate your posts to that comm in this journal or to simply post here alone, if you prefer! Clarion News is for announcements of anything and everything of interest to Mag7 fans. It's a place to share links to stories of all genres, pairings, and ratings; story recs; icon posts and other fanart; vids; news about the show or the actors' appearances in other series or movies; and discussion topics related to Mag7. Please freely post about anything related to the show, and do post links to your own stories, vids, art, or meta! If you've posted an announcement to another comm or to a list, please also consider cross-posting here to reach as many fans as possible. Don't, however, post stories or discussion topics directly here, but rather provide a link to an LJ post or a website. For icons, offer a teaser of up to three, then a link to the journal where the rest can be seen. Story recs are also very welcome and can be posted here directly. Please use the subject line to introduce the entry, such as "New story," "New Vid" or "Icons" announcements, and posts about "Discussion," "News" or "Recs." Also consider using the tags that are available as they help people find topics they're interested in. Please use cut-tags for longer posts (ie, extended lists of recs or any post with a large chunk of text) or ones with a large image or a streaming video link such as YouTube. How you label or present your story is entirely up to your own discretion, though it's perhaps good to keep in mind that most readers like at least basic information on whether a story is gen, het, or slash, and what the character or pairing focus is.
