city calm down

First off! I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I haven't been able to update the Icon Directory in a while. I should start working on it tomorrow and it shouldn't take too long for me to get everything done. Off to the icons then!

I was looking at this gallery yesterday 'cause I wanted to icon another Korean girl when I came across Jeon Ji Hyun's thread... and noticed that they've added a substantial amount of photos. Moreover, I noticed that she recently cut her hair. I got kind of excited and started iconning her. Yeah, I sort of love how she can look so cute and happy one moment then look like she's going to punch you in the face in the next. I also made icons of her earlier pictures that I may have overlooked in the previous set. Er - there are three banners here too! OH, and she actually smiles a lot in this set, haha.

YATTA! First post. How exciting. This is Jeon Ji Hyun, who you probably wouldn't recognise 'cause she isn't very popular outside of Korea. Anyway, she's a model slash actress (but mostly actress these days, apparently) and she's starred in quite a few movies that have been remade in Hollyweird. Which ones, you say? Il Mare got turned into The Lake House and My Sassy Girl has been remade and due for release later this year. I think the original movies were a little better... orrr, maybe that's just me. >>

ANYWAY. I first used her as PB for Su Li back in ye goode olde GJ days and am currently using her now for a next-gen HP game. I know it's a bit of a faux pas to use a Korean to PB a Chinese girl but... still. I couldn't find or was too lazy to find a Chinese celebrity who had the same sort of "look" I was aiming for; you know, that odd mixture of vulnerable, bitchy and a touch of evil.
