No Hurry (Jessica's Epilogue)
Jessica had never been on an airplane before. And the concept of one was entirely alien, so when Tseng had invited her to come and see Japan, she had agreed without any knowledge of just how long the journey was.
Her initial panic attack was quickly soothed by the man at her side, the soft reassuring touches from him - that she had only experienced from him - calming her in a way that should have been unnerving, and he just laughed at her suspicions that there was something demonic in the fact that they were flying.
The specifics of technology still eluded her.
The spectacular views caught her attention soon enough and, like a child, she spent a lot of the time she was awake pointing out shapes in the clouds beneath them.
However, all her worries about being somewhere completely different and new were assuaged the instant they touched down and Tseng stepped off the plane, proudly showing her that this was his home country.
She looked at him and smiled and knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that they were going to have a great time in this country.
And after that? Well, then they would figure out what was happening. She was in no hurry.
