Moscow was eased of some of its burdens thanks to the Cirque and the call for the Wild Hunt. Like the monsters, the grounds themselves felt more energized. Strong and teaming with power. Even the most mundane of performers could feel the heady pull from the Cauldron. No matter what a person's opinion was, every element, every hungry monster, had a purpose in nature. Russia had fed the beast and it was pleased.
Long after the horns and the barking of dogs have stopped. The grounds had emerged from its forever night dimension and played the nostalgic melodies of carousel rides and strength tested games. New patrons allowed in to see the dizzying sights but not aware of the blood that had paved the Midway. They all shrieked with laughter. All screamed with glee. All were allowed to leave at the closing of the gates. But now, it was time to end their stop in Moscow. The snow carpeted and gleamed over the grounds making them seem quiet and pure...
At midnight, the Coven, the Ringmaster, and some of the Fae gather around the Cauldron. Soon, the familiar power begins to build. The magic is the same as always, both familiar and strange. A steady build, a sudden swell – the feeling of time and space folding in on them... And then the release of all the magic, the dizzying sensation of movement and then settling. A sigh of winter follows them, only to be lost to a warm dampness. Where once there was snow, a soft shower replaces it. Warmth once more. Over the peek of the wooden gates of the Cirques blooms an intricately carved white temple. Spires and points adorning its roofs. Demons gaud its bridge, daring those not worthy to approach.
Nestled on the grounds of a converted Hindu temple by Buddhist, the Cirque has found itself back in Thailand and the city of Chiang Rai. The rain season is ending and it is the time for Loi Krathong, a time of rebirth and praise to the Hindu Water Goddess Ganga. Time to let go of the negative emotions that hold the spirit back from true enlightenment. Nail and hair clippings are placed on floating lanterns to symbolize the purging the darkness to make one reborn for the new year. The Yi Peng coincides, more prominent in these Northern mountains. Floating lanterns are released on the coming full moon to symbolized the embodiment of positive energy and good deeds, merit, to be passed on to the ancestors that had come before them. It is a time for purity and rebirth. Everything had a purpose.
