Who: Kit & Mona What: Comfort~ When: November 6th, morning Where: Mona's trailer, leading to Kit's Warnings: N/A
Despite the short amount of time that they had known one another, it was increasingly obvious to him (and likely to everyone else) that Kit had grown very fond of Mona. He enjoyed her company, delighted in her enthusiasm and curiosity, and he felt at ease and content in her presence in a way that he hadn't really experienced before. Unable to put a name to such a feeling, Kit merely allowed himself the luxury of enjoying it rather than overthinking it.
It was why, when bad things happened to Mona, Kit felt an insatiable urge to protect her. She didn't need it for the most part; her sisters were strong enough to do that and always had, according to the redhead, yet Kit was ready and willing should he ever be needed to fill such a role. It was what friends did for one another. After the events in London, wherein he had promised to come to Mona but failed to do so, he had vowed to try harder in future. Not that he had expected to be needed quite so soon afterwards. Still, after their brief conversation in which it was evident that Mona was not handling things well, Kit was more than ready to do whatever it was he could to help her now.
Tugging the hood of his jacket over his head for some semblance of protection and slipping his phone into his pocket, Kit ducked out into the daylight and ran as fast as his legs could carry him in the direction of Mona's tea shop. He reached it quickly, vampire speed be praised, coming to a jarring stop outside of the entrance. Scaling the steps and raising a hand, Kit knocked surprisingly lightly on the door before folding himself into the archway in order to shield from the dull light thankfully hidden by the cloud cover as he waited.
