Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who: Alaïa & Byron & NPC Human
What: A snack.
When: October 30th, late evening
Where: the Stargazer
Rating: Adult.

Alaïa's senses were full of the human woman – a girl, really. An adult, but only barely. Her youth had a scent of its own, warm and clean and delicious in a way that the vampire would never be able to explain to a human. She had been so sweet, returning Alaïa's flirtation so nervously – but she was relaxed at this point, her head swimming with the vampire's kisses and touches. It was an easy thing to lead her, their fingers twined together, the walk interrupted then by the dark-haired woman pausing to pull her close, a hand in her long curls or at the back of her neck, lips on warm skin, listening to the way her pulse raced.

"Where are we going?" The girl's voice was soft, distracted. She had left her friends behind at the Dancing Swords, entranced by another routine. Despite the question, though, she didn't hesitate; her feet kept moving on the black-and-white path.

"Shhh, pretty. Let me worry about that. I'll take good care of you." A little further, the flutter of a tent-flap, and Alaïa was pulling the human girl down onto soft grass, distracting and disarming her with kisses so deep that her would-be lover was left moaning softly against her mouth. "Just let me play with you, mmm? You're in good hands..."

The employees were a buzz with theories and reactions toward the bodies being found and the bloody message on the tent walling. Byron paid it no mind. They all were acting as if death was not an extremely common happening amongst the Cirque. His ability to take any patron he wished and destroy their bodies as he pleased could be said to be the only thing that kept the sociopath amongst them.

Humans trembling in fear merely made them more of his taste. No other scents in the world could compare to fear and lust. Byron had watched Alaia play her little game with the young girl, so unaware of herself and not understanding the raising feelings that stirred upon the sight of his childer.

Byron's shadow appeared beside the human long before Byron himself did, the sides of his hair trimmed short, leaving the top long, black eyeliner highlighting the piercing blue eyes, and an ever charming smile on his lips. "Little love, what do- we- have- here?" Each word was punctuated with amusement.

Maybe the human didn't sense Byron's presence or the shadow that appeared with them, but Alaïa certainly did. Her own senses were much sharper than the girl's – she could smell the signature scent of her sire, hear his breathing. Her lips curled in a pleased little smile, but she didn't lift her head until he spoke.

When she did, the girl's glazed eyes opened, and she looked at Byron with a little confusion. "A gift, of course," Alaïa purred sweetly, lifting a hand to run it affectionately down the curve of the human's nose. "Isn't she so pretty? Such beautiful blue eyes. Not the same as yours – robin's egg, I think."

"I am fond of gifts, darling." Byron sauntered up to where they lay in the magically inclined grass. Crouching down beside them, he ran a finger over the girl's young cheek. "Such beautiful eyes," he agreed. "But there is something missing."

The girl continued to blink confused, the situation not sinking in as quickly as it should have. Once his finger reached the tip of her chin, he flicked his wrist and the sharp cool edge of a blade slashed across her cheek. A smirked pulled on his lips with pride. "Mmm, better." Lifting the blade, he held it toward Alaïa to taste. "Ladies first."

The warm, indulgent smile that Alaïa gave her sire was something of a rarity to all but him. She had plenty of smiles, of course, for plenty of people... but they were certainly not all sincere. Most of them stopped long before they reached her dark eyes. For Byron, though, there was nothing but affection and fondness. He was the one creature she never seemed to tire of.

Her eyes lit a little further at the swipe of the blade, though. It was sharp, so sharp that the human didn't feel it slice into the skin of her cheek; she didn't realize what had happened until she felt the blood warm on her cheek. Alaïa paused, inhaled appreciatively, and then tipped her head up to daintily lick the fresh blood from the edge of the blade. "Perfect. Not to sound conceited, but I think I made an excellent choice for us."

"Very," he agreed. Half settled beside the victim, Byron stretched out. Propping himself up on his elbow, his body blocked one side of her as his blue eyes moved between the girl and his childer. His fingers ran lightly down the soft curves, enticingly, letting the human's mind swirl with the mesmerism and beauty of the pair of vampires ready to take her for all her worth.

Sliding his hand down, he walked his fingers up Alaïa's adjacent thighs. "Pleasure before pain, love?" Byron slid his blade into his childer's hand.

Alaïa watched as Byron moved close, slid up against the human in order to warmly barricade her into place. The girl didn't notice, of course. All she saw was another so-beautiful person joining them. Alaïa's eyes followed the path of her sire's fingertips, enjoying the way that they looked against the girl's skin – long and elegant, perfect. He was so much more beautiful than the human, so much more enticing. Even after so long, Alaïa was still entranced by him.

When his fingers were on her own skin, she felt a familiar thrill, a sort of shiver that passed through her. That didn't keep her from wrapping her fingers around the blade that he offered her. "Pleasure," she purred, smiling indulgently over the girl's shoulder. "Pain. They're almost the same, don't you think?"

"One is better when mixed with the other," he replied easily. His fingers snaked between her legs, moving fabric aside for better access. "I would like to see how you want to prepare your lovely gift."

Byron leaned into the girl, bowing his head to lick the blood off her cheek. "How exciting for you, love. She is only second to myself in her knife skills." He whispered again in the girl's ear. "Let's hear those fantastic vocals."
