The fish topic had been merely a thought. Nothing could be done for them now, their lives set on a particular course and forever changed by the interruptions to it. Sometimes Orion wondered if the caged mentality could ever be come back from, but he tried not to focus on those thoughts.
"They don't really see a lot of things." His gaze lingered on her a moment before he looked down at the ground with a smile. His fingers running through his hair, Orion didn't know what she saw in him. Why she decided to spend time with him over Bitsy or anyone else for that matter.
