WHO: Izzy and Lucia WHEN: June 9th, afternoon WHERE: Dining Hall PROMPT: Generosity WARNINGS: Likely low.
The full moon had thoroughly taken a toll on the young shifter. This much was evident in the cautious way her body moved with each step, so far removed from her typical languid, slightly slouched maneuvers. It almost seemed as though her skin cased broken shards instead of bones, and if anyone were to ask she was likely to tell you that was exactly what it felt like. The two shifts she'd endured in such a short span had both been ruthless on her body, and though she'd spent much of the day trying to sleep it off the discomfort that radiated out from her very marrow did not really allow for much rest.
She had refused to allow Nik to babysit her anymore after he'd spent the night of the moon watching over her, and so when hunger rumbled in her guts she had dragged herself out of their trailer and shuffled down to the dining hall to forage for something that was not raw meat. She did not wave or greet anyone as she passed, keeping her eyes down and the brim of her hat pulled low over her brow to shield the offensive rays of the sun. If anyone did approach to try and engage her, she did little more than growl at them before moving past.
She entered the dining tent in much the same way, nursing her sore body into a seat and removing her hat to set it beside her on the table, raking trembling fingers through her hair. She lifted dark eyes to regard the small girl that approached her, an exhausted sigh deflating her as she rasped, "...Is there anything without meat in it today?" She had had more of her fill last night and wanted something to take the metallic tang of blood from her tongue.
