Sasha was still trying to comprehend everything all around her. It was weird and strange and so many things here shouldn't exist, and yet they do and the strangest of all things was that it didn't really freak her out. She knew she should be, shouldn't she? She wasn't exactly normal herself either but gifted human is a far cry from vampire, shifter, wolf, etc., just wrapping her head around that was the big deal. But she couldn't complain; she'd been given a very cute place to live and apparently a job and she was far away from home which was the best thing.
Well on most days. Today was far more emotional and she needed out of the house and some fresh air. Sasha wasn't really meaning to go anywhere, her feet just moved and she was lost in thought as she wandered through to the Midway. She felt the stares from some others, probably just because she was new, it made sense. If they were staring for some other reason, she didn't acknowledge it. Her thoughts were on her mother and how much she missed her especially on this day of days.
Finding a nice place to sit, she stopped walking and did just that. The sun was practically down as twinight started to fall over the area. Sasha wondered who or what she would go see tonight. She would be working herself soon enough.
