"Good for kiss, human mouths," Lamb said. "Animals faces aren't built well for that." Kissing was nice. Yet another in the long list of things most of her kind had never thought to try.
"Then we go climb," Lamb said, standing up from behind her not empty plate and abandoning it. The food on there wasn't sustenance for her anyway, just interesting tastes and textures. She headed for the door with the assumption that little puppy would follow.
She slowed while walking through the tents, remembering something about giving a tour. She stopped walking suddenly and looked at the tent on her left, and then at the tent on her right.
"Those are tents," she told the boy, before setting off again.
She pointed at a few more tents to tell him that they were, in fact, tents.
Lamb was an excellent tour guide.
"This is the freakshow," Lamb told him, because she knew (and cared) what this tent was. Pushing back the opening so they could go inside, Lamb said, "I need to collect something." She walked through to her usual area, and from the wall she begun taking down a selection of hooks. She had a lot of different types and sizes for her show.
