Khalida didn't think that Issac needed to 'give a drink to a gargoyle and find a silver necklace', unless the necklace he was finding was his talisman. But she also knew that, when it came to Issac, nothing was like parenting a normal child.
Besides, Issac wasn't a child anymore, no matter how much Khalida couldn't help seeing him that way. So instead of holding him down anymore, Khal simply watching him and said, "what can I do to help you, Issac?"
Sometimes all you could do is ask, even if the person seemed completely insane. A lack of sanity shouldn't mean a lack of dignity or choice.
