That Issac thought there couldn't be love where there was also fear made Khalida think how young he still was. She had loved someone she feared before, they weren't mutually exclusive. But she didn't fear Issac, he didn't scare her. She couldn't deny that his powers made her uncomfortable - neither to herself or to him. Maybe it was fear, but Khal had known much worse fears over her life; the type she felt around Issac couldn't compare.
