There were many that would say that Mel did not play well with others. He did, in ways, if they were on task or flirtatious like the appearance of his old friend Sylvie, but even being part of triplets, Mel did not constantly seek attention. Feet swirling the waters in the Lagoon, he was lost in thought about the quickly closing year and how he should have sought out his siblings before signing the contract at the Cirque. Really, he just did not enjoy the ever increasing invasion of privacy the modern world was coming to. Somehow supernaturals kept a close lid on their realities, probably because with all the advances in technology there were steps back in their belief systems. Everything could be faked and it made it easier for people like him to prey on this dumbing down of the human mind. Melpônus chuckled to himself as he thought about what humans might see the Cirque as. How gullible they were wanting magic but not believing in it. They all fell into the lines outside the gates and begged to be eaten. Sliding down into the water, he let the soft waves of the lagoon wash over his skin. Everyone could have their balls, he wanted to swim and not pretend to be human for a while. |
