Some of you may have seen Alisanne's comment, or may have noticed the odd activity on the fiction side of Cipher, but the board is currently under the invasion of spam bots again. *grumble* They are leaving random reviews in stories (according to Ali, who has been attacked, they seem to frequent the same story quite often.)

I may hve unintentionally ticked off the great spam bots of the interweb by deleting faux accounts (or accounts that didn't seem legit, if I accidently grab a real account, I am terribly sorry to whoever you are. Forgive me.)

Please, if you are one of the authors being targeted, let me know. I will be fixing this problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

The attacks seem to have increased in ferocity. *sigh*
I left the last few that I got (just overnight) up here for you to see. And it's ALWAYS my HarryRon100 Drabbles. *eyeroll*
I've lost track of how many spam messages this fic has received.
I'll delete them when you see, just let me know.

Good Lords, that it spam in abundance. I'm so sorry that you were holding on to those for me. They have been deleted now. I'm terribly sorry that it took me so long to get back to you.

No worries.
Thing is, they're accumulating again. I suppose I could just delete the chapter and repost it since it seems to be what's been targeted. Maybe that would stop it...

I would hate for you to have to do that. However, if you do, let me know if it works.

I have talked to several different people about how to stop it, and I've got them all scratching there heads. I don't find that very reassuring. Most have told me that turning off anon reviews is the only sure fire way, since none of the reviews are from registered members. *sigh*

Oops.
I never did tell you, but I did delete and repost the targeted drabble and that seems to have worked. :)

And you may have noticed that I haven't been posting at Cipher lately. Unfortunately, I have been having issues with the posting interface. Since I am on a mac, it used to be quite easy to post. Safari generally ignored the Cipher posting interface and reverted back to the old system. Ever since I changed to Firefox as my default browser, however, it's been a PIA to post there. Since it doesn't seem to accept html embedded coding (and that is how I write) I had to go through and do all the coding by hand, and that got really old really fast.

Anyway, I didn't want you to think that I had any other reason for not posting. If you find a way to make it easier to post I will resume archiving there (incidentally, I know other who may resume posting there, too).

Haha! And I forget to post that anon reviews are turned off. *snicker* Communication at its finest.

*head desk*

I know there are troubles with the interfacing, and I am tossing ideas around in my head about what to do about that. Unfortunately, that is not an easy fix. It would involve scary words like "updating" and "restructing" I am sure. *grin*
