Heya, guys. It's Lara.

After some thought, I've picked up Helen Magnus from Sanctuary (as played by the gorgeous Amanda Tapping). I figured she would be an interesting addition, given her knowledge and the fact that she's over a century and a half old.

I'll probably introduce her after the rescue is underway. If anyone wants to interact with her, she's definitely open! I'm sure the SGA people will be a bit WTF. ;-)

Hi Lara!

It should be really interesting to have Helen in the game. She is a great character. I've seen some webisodes of the show and now finally managed to see the pilot of the series. Can't wait to see more. :-)

John will definitely think Sam dyed her hair before arriving. :-)) Or that she's from another reality and always looked like that there.

My characters are all up for plotting. John definitely wants to meet Helen. And as long as I play the doctor he will be eager to meet her, too. He really wants to know how she managed to get that old. And he loves to meet scientists who understand what he's talking about.

Rachel, Faith, Martha, Jacob, Ruby and Henry would all like to meet Helen, too.

	Helen really is a great character. She should be a cool addition in the fight, given everything that she knows. And having her meet the Doctor would definitely be interesting! Especially since I'm sure that given her contacts, she would have heard of him. Actually, I had a thought that I'm going to have to speak to Sigi about. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I just realized something today. Both Helen and Jack are immortal, and given when Jack was deposited back on Earth and Helen's contacts in Britain and around the world, I wouldn't be surprised if they ran into each other at some point in the past. 	Oh now that's very possible! Since Torchwood seems to know about a lot of things, organisations, creatures etc, I wouldn't be surprised if Jack first knew about her via TW. Hmmm, perhaps aliens and others who are deemed harmless by TW but can't go back to where they belong might go to Sanctuary in a partnership formed between the two agencies? Oh another character to learn about.

I was reading where a lot of people were unhappy with the character but I didn't realize they had dyed Amanda's hair. That's interesting because they dyed Jamie's hair while Edward James Olmos donned blue contacts so the two would appear more like father and son. It has been fun to watch Jamie's hair go from dark brown to an attractive dark red but not so nice for him according to his people who told him it was causing hair loss.

I think the problem people originally had with Helen was that she wasn't Sam Carter. Helen is actually a really fascinating, strong character, and I love what Amanda's done with her. Her accent is very well done as well (coming from someone who spent five years in England).

I remember reading that about Jamie and Edward and thought it was pretty cool that they did that. Looking forward to seeing the last part of the season when it comes back next month.
