Hi!
Unfortunately the rpg seems to have died over christmas and new year. I was really sick at the time and wasn't able to do anything about it myself.
When I got back almost noone else seemed to be around anymore.
I didn't have enough time to try and get the game running again so far. It really takes a lot of time to mail so many players all the time and ask why they aren't posting. That + advertising + updating the game in addition to rping was just too much. I had another important exam and will still be busy with uni, as it is my final semester now.
Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for not managing to keep the rpg going.
And I wanted to ask if anyone is still interested in this game and would be willing to help get it running again, like mailing the players and advertising. I could try and make time for the game if I have more help. Sigi did a wonderful job as mod, but another one would be needed from now on.
If this game stays closed I hope to see you around in other rpgs. I really had a wonderful time rping with all of you!

Hi again!
I'm finally feeling better and my pc is all set up again. :-) So I should be able to be online more often again from now on.
I made a thread for the evil guys in our kidnapping post. Feel free to bring your bad guys in and/or have Kadaj, Yazoo or Gwen jump into this thread, as this group will be attacked first. ;-)
I'll probably get to all other posts that I need to reply to tomorrow (if I'm not too hung over or something), as I have to get ready now. Some friends will be coming over soon to celebrate. ;-)

Hi!
Sorry that I haven't been here at all the last days. The chaotic christmas preparations were just about finished when I got sick. I'm still spending most of the day in bed. :-( And on top of that my pc is acting up. Programs just don't seem to want to start like they should. I can't find viruses or anything else that is causing the problem, so I will reformat the whole pc. I got all data saved now and will start the reformating. Hopefully it won't take too long. After that I'll be back at least during the time I feel good enough. Hopefully I won't be sick much longer as well.
I hope you all had a nicer christmas. ;-)

So we have a thread where the targets are still wandering around and another thread where they've already been seen as prisoners but without an attack? Are we going to see some attackers here or is it time to just start playing the captured? I was looking forward to at least a brief period of resistance although not as intense perhaps as the 30 turn, four-hour play fight that I had last weekend in another game.
Or is it still too soon to expect anything because of the holiday? What are the schedules of the the students here? Are you back to school just after the holidays or do you have a three to four week break?

Hi there!
Sorry for still being slow in replying even though my exams are finally over. I'm back home at my parents and things are getting hectic already. Typical for the season, I guess.
I did some christmas shopping and went to the christmas market. Then I had to finally do some other stuff that I had put off because I was busy studying. And I got a cold again. :-( But it's not that bad luckily.
The next days will be busy as well. I got invited by friends that I haven't seen in a while. And we need to make christmas cookies.
The days before christmas are always so hectic. But it's still nice and way better than studying. :-))
Anyway, just wanted to give you an update on my situation. I hope I'll find some more time for rping the next days despite all my other plans.

It's me Liz and I've added Henry Foss from Sanctuary to my stable of characters.
A little background - the Sanctuary is a place ran by Helen Magnus, and it helps Abnormals (monsters, creatures...the type of things the Winchester boys hunt). Henry is a werewolf, who has just learned how to control his transformations. He was raised by Helen Magnus after she rescued him from his werewolf parents. He's a friendly guy and will love making friends with the people on the good side. So if you want to plot with him, give me a poke. :-) Since I'm in a bunch of threads already, I think I'm going to wait until Day Five to introduce him. :-)
Also, Ryan Robbins, who plays Henry, also played the Genii Ladon in a few episodes of Stargate Atlantis. It might be interesting if the SGA charries think he's Ladon since they have a love-hate relationship with him. ;-)

Heya, guys. It's Lara.
After some thought, I've picked up Helen Magnus from Sanctuary (as played by the gorgeous Amanda Tapping). I figured she would be an interesting addition, given her knowledge and the fact that she's over a century and a half old.
I'll probably introduce her after the rescue is underway. If anyone wants to interact with her, she's definitely open! I'm sure the SGA people will be a bit WTF. ;-)

As Bunny left the rpg I will take over the doctor until we can find someone new to play him. I've played the doctor before and already have a journal, so I really don't mind. Love the doctor anyway. :-)
If anyone wants to plot something with the doctor or just meet him somewhere, let me know. He's ready to have some fun. *g*

I just found Seventh Sanctum which looks like it could be a lot of fun if your muse is having a dry spell or it your mun just doesn't know anything about, say for instance, hand-to-hand combat or wizard's spells.

All characters that wanted to join the kidnapping are in the thread now. So we can go on and have the evil guys attack soon.
What do you think, shall we make two groups of the evil characters and attack both exploring groups? Or shall all evil characters attack Johns group? Lees group could hear shooting then and come to help.
I will already start a post for Ruby when she comes to the good side of town later on day 4 to tell people about the prisoners. So, Sam, Dean & Jo, if you still want to be in the thread feel free to jump in. ;-)

Hey, it's Sage (aka that crazy girl who plays Kara Thrace). I've taken on the character of Isabel Evans from the TV show Roswell. I've played her on and off for years and, as of late, I haven't gotten to play her...long story short, here I am :)
I was wondering if Lara and Liz would mind if I brought Isabel into the Beckett/Rodney thread. I thought it would be a lot of fun to have the three of them interact, but I just wanted to ask you guys first.

Michael seriously needs something to do before he gets really evil and does something mean to everyone on his side of the island. ;-) The one thing he doesn't have here are his trusted hybrids and clones. He would really like to make a clone or two. In order to make the clone, he would need some DNA and a lab. He's pretty resourceful and would be able to put together a lab. The only thing he would need is someone's DNA.
I was thinking he could possibly clone someone from the good side of town. He would be able to extract information from the clone and make them evil. Of course, the player of the cloned character would have to play two versions of said character and I'm not sure if any of the mods would go for that. Just an idea I wanted to throw out there.

Hiya, everyone.
I'm Lara - new to the game, but not new RPing. Was introduced to the game by Liz and thought I'd jump on in!
I'm playing Carson Beckett and Teyla Emmagan from Stargate Atlantis.
Carson (played on this journal, natch) is a medical doctor who is also very good at research, so of course, he'll be ready to jump in and help out when people need it. Although he might have to be prodded to actually go out places - he's usually not too keen on leaving the safety of the hospital, especially in a new and uncertain situation, but he'll do it when he's needed.
Teyla (played on ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) teylaofathos) is the former leader of her people (the Athosians) and has been brought here with her ten-month old son Torren. She has no idea why a baby would have been pulled into a situation like this, so that's going to make her a bit weary at first. She's very good at stick fighting and meditation and will be glad to teach it to those who wish to learn. With the safety of her son involved, she'll be willing to help anyway she can.
Also, she'll want to know why Michael is there, considering she killed him.
Not sure what else, but am always open to ideas. Give me a shout - I've posted my contact info. I will probably pick up other characters after I get settled.

It's me Liz (Jennifer, Sarah and Michael) and I'm adding Rodney McKay and Ronon Dex to my stable of characters. Anyway, both characters are from Stargate Atlantis. Rodney is an uber brilliant scientist (and an egomaniac to boot) and Ronon is a warrior/weapons expert.
Ronon would eventually be interested in helping train people to fight and teaching proper weapons use. As for Rodney, it was suggested he eventually meet up with the Doctor.
Right now, the plan is to have Rodney meet up with Carson (another SGA character *pokes Lara*), freak out, get hurt and then the two of them will end up at the hospital and probably join Jennifer and Martha's thread.
If you want to plot with either Rodney or Ronon, my contact information is posted. :)

I was wondering how you guys want to go on. Would you prefer to split the characters up like Kadaj suggested, or maybe make 2 groups? I thought John would probably suggest that, as it would be safer if 3 people went together. But I thought I'd ask you what you'd prefer first.
Btw, sorry for the delay! I'll try to post more often now that I'm feeling better. ;-)
