Character(s): Faith & Dean (open to others)
Day: day 3
Time of Day: about 4.30 pm
Location: the pool
Rating: tbd (they like to flirt at the very least)
Status: incomplete

Faith surfaced in the pool. She checked that her dark red bikini was still in place - good - and then made her way to the ladder to climb out gracefully. Dripping water everywhere she went over to her sunlounger and grabbed her towel.

A bit later she put the towel down and sat down on the lounger. Going to the pool after the self defense lesson had been a good idea. She could relax and get drinks from the bar whenever she wanted.

Grabbing her sunglasses from the small table nearby Faith put them on and then leaned back in the sunlounger, making herself comfortable.

Dean hoped that this place wasn't heaven, especially considering how little there was to do. He'd been here for less than a day and already he'd walked the length of the town at least twice. He'd meant to head back to the bar he'd found last night, but had gotten distracted while passing the pool area. There were definitely more women out and about today than there were yesterday and some of them looked damn good in a bikini.

Now that part, that part he could see being in heaven. He'd opted to grab a drink at the pool bar instead of finding the other place, deciding he preferred the scenery here. Sure he looked a little out of place in his ratty jeans and dark t-shirt, but the drink he'd been handed at the bar had a good punch and a tiny umbrella that he kept trying to convince himself helped him fit in.

He took another sip as he watched on particular woman emerge from the pool and walk over to the lounger next to him. He tried to think of some way to start a conversation but found that nothing really seemed to fit. Shrugging he moved into his standard bar pick-up, even though he wasn't in his standard kind of bar.

"Hey," he said, leaning towards her chair. "I'm Dean."

He gave her a smile. "Can I get you a drink?"

Faith glanced around as she half lay half sat in the sunlounger. There was a guy at the bar next to her. His clothes didn't really fit the pool area, but who knew when he arrived or if he just wasn't planning to go into the pool. She however wouldn't have minded to see him in trunks. He looked hot as it was.

Then he spoke to her. That had been easy. She didn't even have to start flirting.

She smiled back and sat up straighter. "A drink sounds good", she decided and got up to join him at the bar. "I'm Faith."

Sitting down at the bar stool next to him she gave him a flirtatious smile. "So, when did you arrive?", she asked.

"Yesterday," Dean said, grinning at her as she sat next to him. Alright, maybe he'd judged this place too quickly. Maybe it wasn't all that boring after all.

He arched an eyebrow at her, giving her a once over now that she was closer. Yep, his eyes hadn't been playing tricks on him, he had a looker on his hands.

"When did you get in?" He asked, noting to himself that in his experience the girls named after the christian virtues seemed to have the least of the God fearing kind. He smiled to himself, hoping that proved true.

Faith nodded at that. "Thought I hadn't seen you around. Would have remembered that", she said with a grin. Then she turned slightly to have a look at the drinks. There wasn't as much alcohol as in the bar or cocktail bar, but still enough.

Before she had time to decide what to drink Dean spoke again and she turned her attention back to him.

"About three weeks ago", she said. "I was one of the first to arrive. The place was pretty deserted then." Not that it was really crowded now, but a few more hot guys had definitely arrived, she thought and licked her lips as she glanced at Dean. One of them was sitting right next to her.

"So, what do you usually do when you don't get snatched and brought to who knows where to get ready to fight a war?", she asked.

Dean returned her grin, liking this girl more and more as she spoke.

Three weeks ago. How had these people stayed sane? As far as he could tell three weeks ago was the farthest back anyone could remember showing up wherever they were. John had mentioned that was when he'd been taken from his "reality" as well.

"Oh, I do alot of things," Dean said, raising his eyebrows playfully. "And I fight demons on the side. What about you?"

Faith grinned. She liked the way he said the word things. It was full of promises.

"Tell me about those things", she said mischievously. Then she however was surprised by his next words. But soon a smile appeared on her lips again.

"I actually do the same", she said and then grinned, even more intrigued by him now.

"So, Dean, tell me how you fight those demons", she said leaning in a little closer. She was interested and swapping stories about slaying evil was always fun.

"You're a demon hunter?" Dean asked, looking over her again with a wider smile. "Well, they definitely don't look like you at home."

He leaned a little closer as well. "Well, I don't want to brag or anything, but I've seen my share of the action." He'd probably seen more than his fair share over the last year. "I'll do whatever it takes. Guns, knives, devil traps, you name it." He winked at her. "What's your method of choice?"

Faith smirked at the comment, taking that as a compliment.

"I'm more of a slayer. But hunter is close enough", she said.

She then grinned. Dean sounded like a person worth getting to know better, in every possible way.

"Seems like we have a lot to talk about", she said.

"Same here." Whatever it took to get rid if evil. "Knives, crossbows, swords, axes and stakes of course." Give her a stake and Faith felt complete.

"When did you start hunting?", she asked, as she leaned over the bar and got herself a cocktail, that was already standing ready. The cocktails here weren't as good as at the cocktail bar, but drinkable and not too strong, which was good as it was still rather hot and the sun was burning down on them.

"Slayer," Dean repeated, looking impressed. "I like that. Much more sleek n' sexy than hunter. It suits you."

He raised his eyebrows at her arsenal, before taking a sip of his drink. "You're not kidding about being hardcore, are you?" He asked, squinting against the sun to smile at her.

"When wasn't I hunting?" Dean asked, shrugging. "I was loading guns for my dad by the time I was twelve. Didn't get my first kill until I was sixteen though. Managed to rack them up since then, though." He set his drink down and leaned towards her a little more. "What about you, slayer?"

Faith laughed slightly at his words. "Thanks. But I haven't come up with that. It's just what I am."

"Nope", she said with a grin. She definitely wasn't. "Come to my next self defense training and I'll show you", she said. "Or we could have a personal lesson." She grinned at the thought. That could be fun.

Faith looked at him a bit surprised. He had started early. And she had thought she was thrown into the world of demons, vamps and other creatures that hid in the night, at a young age.

"I was 15 when I found out what the world was really like. Killed my first vamp soon after that", she told him. Thinking about that time made Faith feel a little sad. She had liked her first watcher a lot. She wondered if her life might have turned out differently if her watcher hadn't been killed so soon. She then however pushed those thoughts away and drank some of her cocktail. Wondering about what might have been didn't change a thing. He life got out of control and she turned it around. That was it.

"What do you do for fun?", she then asked. It wasn't that slaying couldn't be fun, but she had other things in mind that were more fun. Her face was now very close to his as she watched him closely and gave him a smile.

"A private lesson," Dean said, nodding at her. "I could go for that." He liked the way Faith was so straight forward. It didn't sound like she was used to mincing her words or apologizing for herself.

His face grew a little more serious as she talked about her first kill. He could remember burning his first kill's body out in the woods with his dad and thinking about all the stuff other normal teenagers were doing. He got the impression that Faith might have felt something similar at fifteen.

He looked at her, realizing how close they were now, noticing the perfect shape of her lips. "Well, that depends," He said, moving his eyes back up to met her eyes. "On what your definition of fun is."

Faith grinned. "That's a deal then", she said. "But don't complain when you end up on your back", she said a little teasingly, a glint in her eyes.

"My definition of fun?", she asked as she looked into his eyes. "Why don't I show you?" That said she closed the distance between them and kissed him.

The day before she had hoped to find someone to take her mind off Angel, someone to have some fun with. She was sure she had found the right guy for that.

Faith deepened the kiss, pulled him closer and kissed him more and more passionately before pulling away to take a breath. "That fun enough for you?", she asked playfully. "If not I have a few more ideas."

Dean didn't miss the playful glint in her eyes as she said he'd probably end up on his back. Considering who was making that threat he couldn't be that bothered by it. He might have even been looking forward to it.

The next minute her lips were against his and he only had a moment to smile against them before he was returning her kiss, his hand making it's way up to her neck as they deepened it.

"Yeah," Dean said, letting out a little sigh as a huge smile spread across his face. "I've got some ideas of my own too."

Faith grinned. He seemed to like the idea just as much as she did.

Faith enjoyed the way he kissed and held her while doing so. He really could kiss! She had kissed a lot of guys in her life, but she hadn't often been kissed like that. Dean obviously knew what he was doing.

She then grinned at his words. "I have a feeling that I'll love every single one of those ideas", she said as she pressed herself closer to him.

Then she suddenly stepped back a little. "Sorry", she then mumbled with an apologetic smile. Her bikini was still wet from her swim and so was her hair. She was starting to get him wet as well.

"I don't mind," Dean said, lookin' down at his wet shirt and then up at her. "Believe me. I couldn't mind less."

He looked at the pool behind him. "So that personal training lesson. Where do I sign up for that?"

He was kind of hoping it was an open invitation and there would be an open spot right away. This place was definitely looking more interesting by the minute.

Faith grinned at his answer. It was exactly what she wanted to hear.

"No need to sign up. Just tell me when you want to have it and I'll be there", she said. She was already looking forward to it.

"So, what would you like to do now", she then asked finishing her cocktail.

"We could have another drink, swap some stories. We could go swimming." Which would involve him getting out of most of his clothes, which she so wouldn't mind. "Have that training session now. Or do something else." She grinned at the last suggestion.

Dean poured back the rest of his drink and set it on the bar before grinning over at her. "Well, I think you're supposed to wait a good thirty minutes before you swim after drinkin'. So that leaves swappin' stories, which I'm okay with, but considerin' we're here for some serious warfare, I think it's my duty to go with that training lesson."

He raised his eyebrow. "I wouldn't want the wrong kind of person managing to knock me on my back."

Faith listened to Dean and nodded.

"Alright, let's go and see what you're made of", she said with a grin and then went back to her sunlounger to get bag and towel.

"We'll have to stop by the living quarters first so I can change... unless you want me to kick your butt in this", she said and then started to walk towards the road to leave the pool area.

(OOC: Sorry for the delay. Somehow missed your post.)
