The Doctor yawned and rubbed at one of his eyes as he headed back towards his room. He had spent the rest of the day and most of the night after leaving John and Lee at the bar wondering around the city, and in the massive library. There were so many different realities that had people pulled from them. He was fearful of what would happen to those places. He shook his head and rubbed at his temples. He wondered if he could stop for a bit of tea somewhere, but figured sleep would be better. He'd gone longer without sleep before, but it had only been twenty-four hours sense he saved the universe from the Daleks. Pulled the Earth back to it's rightful place, and said goodbye to ALL of his friends. He needed the sleep.

So he headed up the stairs to his room. He'd only been in it once, to put his long over coat away, and then had headed right back out. He unbuttoned his suit jacket as the door came into view and yawned again as he placed his key in the hole. He shrugged as the door opened and slipped inside, shutting the door quietly behind him.

Rose decided that since she had gotten a key to a room, she might as well check it out before heading back out and exploring the rest of this strange world. So far she hadn’t seen the person that she was looking for but then she wasn’t really expecting it. Maybe in the next jump since this place seemed to be lacking a big population.

Her teleport device needed the break anyway since it’d be sometime before it worked again. Thirty minutes between jumps and that’s if it wanted to work. Sometimes it could be longer. Fickle thing, really, but still it had helped her along even if she wasn’t where she wanted to be just yet.

The door came into view and got out her key card before sticking it into the slot and the door opening. Stepping inside, she didn’t notice the occupant at first as she slipped the key back inside her unzipped pocket. But when she did, her eyes went wide and she wanted to gasp. It couldn’t really be him, could it?

She was silent for some time before finally being able to utter a single word. Clearly she wasn’t expecting this at all.

"...Hi."

The Doctor heard the door open and turned, suddenly fully awake. His eyes widened at the sight before him. It couldn't be possible right? He was very tired and he had been through so much. The universe couldn't be that cruel. He took in the woman's appearance and shook his head. No matter how he thought about it. The woman in front of him was her. His Rose.

His mind went to the fact that they could be pulled out of any reality at any time. He frowned and shook his head. He didn't want to ruin this moment. If it was really his Rose, the one he had just left behind, his hearts could sing. But the chances of that, well they were slim.

"Rose..." His voice was soft and held so much emotion he thought he'd burst. "Please... tell me it's you. Tell me they pulled you from Pete's world and you've left my clone behind." He looked up at her with a soft smile. "Tell me your my beautiful Bad Wolf."

Just hearing his voice caused so many emotions to course through her. It was really him. She took one step towards him and then stop as the rest of his words settled in causing the slightly joyful expression to fade into one of confusion. Clone? What did he mean? That wasn't right.

"Doctor...It's really me." she answered giving him a small smile and wanting to take even more steps but finding her feet frozen to the carpet. "...What do you mean by clone? You mean there's another one of you?"

"What was the last thing you remember doing with me?" If she said that it was saying goodbye at Bad Wolf Bay he would probably die. Though he hadn't had much time this past time, he had finally been able to have Rose understand his feelings for her. It would be so hard to tell her himself. Have her understand that he would have given anything to have her remain at his side for all of eternity.

"There is. It's a long story. But in the end, he was part human and couldn't remain in our world. So you took him back with you to be with your family. Rose... I..." He moved and settled himself down on the bed and took a deep breath. "You haven't met Donna yet, or Martha. Or seen that Jack's alive. You haven't fought the Daleks again. You know they stole the Earth? Took it right out of the Milky Way." He was rambling but he knew he'd have to explain to her all that had happened. Needed her to understand how much he had missed her, how much he had broken without her.

The blonde didn’t answer right away as she found herself once again looking away from him. She had left him for a clone? No…She wouldn’t do that. She couldn’t. She had promised him forever. Had come all that way just to find him and only for that to have happened, though not yet for her. It really wasn’t the first time she had crossed timelines. But to hear it all was disappointing and made her heart break just a bit.
"I...I...wouldn’t do that." She said not really ignoring his first question. Things could be changed right? Some things...She thought recalling the time she had tried to save her dad’s life and how that had gone. "I would never leave you," she said taking more steps towards the bed to sit down next to him and place a hand on his shoulder.

She shook her head in a 'no' fashion at the mention of those names. She didn't know them. And Jack was alive? There was so much to take in.

"The stars were going out and I was trying to reach you..." her voice trailed off for a moment. "But I couldn’t. Guess I had no luck." Her attention turned away from him once again before giving him her answer to his first question.

"The last time I saw you was...at Bad Wolf Bay," her voice was softer now. She couldn’t even touch him then. Not like this. Not even a hug. "It was awfully chilly that day." And not to mention the worst day of her life, though judging by what was going to happen maybe that was going to be topped.

"The stars were going out because the Daleks were stealing the planets. They had brought back there leader. I was stupid and left one Dalek alive. But now... they are gone now. For good. Out of time, out of space." He looked off at nothing and frowned. This mass extinction was starting to ware on him. How many times did he have to kill every Dalek to make it stop? Every time they came around, more people died. He shook those thoughts and bounced on the bed focusing on Rose. Sure he had to find a way to get back. Donna had told him how the world was like without him. Earth needed him. But right now, he had Rose. His Rose!

"Oh Rose. My beautiful Rose. You know how dangerous it is to cross realities, yet you still did it. You did it to come to me. I've been stupid. I should have tried to come to you. Use the rift, the TARDIS, something, anything." He turned to her fully and wrapped her into a hug. "Everything I've been through in the last few days, they mean nothing right now. I have you here. I don't know for how long, but as long as you're here I'm not letting go." He pulled back and gave her a smile.

"You are stuck with me Rose Tyler."

She frowned at the news of what was to come and what was causing it. But at least in the end they stopped it. Daleks...She shuddered at the thought. The last time she had faced them, she had lost him 'forever' supposedly and now it seemed like that was the case again. Though now...perhaps not.

"It was worth the risk," she said with a small smile. She had been told countless of times of how dangerous it was and how nothing was certain but she ignored it because when she put her mind to something it was hard for her to let go of it, especially when it came to him. Her arms tighten around him in the embrace. She didn’t want to let go. Not ever. But she knew she had to. Slowly her grip slipped again and she stared into his eyes. Oh how she had missed him.

"I suppose I am once again. Guess it's not so bad, yeah?" She gave him a wink. And then she found herself biting her lip wondering if he had ever answered her.

"I..." she took in another breath trying to form her words carefully. "Did you...You finished that sentence, yeah?" Whatever it was that he was going to say that day on that ill fated beach.

He frowned and he looked at Rose. The sentence hadn't been finished by him. But his clone had finished it. He shook his head and pulled Rose's hand towards him. Holding it gently against his chest, letting her feel his hearts pounding.

"Rose Tyler, I love you." He locked eyes with her and wondered if she'd have the same reaction as he future self had when she had heard the words spoken by his clone. He hoped so. He missed her touch. Missed her smile. Missed... her.

At hearing those five little words, the blonde could have sworn that she stopped breathing for just a second. Tears started to well up in her eyes. She had wanted to hear that for so long but had always been unsure if that was what he was going to say. She wanted to say something in response, anything but found that forming words was rather difficult.

Instead of speaking, Rose found her hand wrapping around his tie to give it a tug and pulling him closer against her as her lips brushed against his in a kiss.

	The Doctor's eyes widened just a big as he felt her grip his tie. He was about to call her name but found his lips occupied. He moaned softly and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her towards him. He had countless dreams of this kiss. Having watched it from the outside had hurt so much. Rose's free hand snaked its way around his neck as she deepened the kiss. She never thought she'd ever get the chance to actually kiss him, especially not like this. But then she found herself having to break the lingering kiss as she took in a breath, staring at him all flustered, not releasing her grip from his tie nor from his neck.

Her fingertips lightly brushed against the nape of his neck as she just looked at him a bit dazed still.

	He nodded and closed his eyes, just loving the feel of her hands in his hair. He licked at his lips before quickly moving back to lay on the bed, and pulling Rose with him. He wrapped his arms around her and laid his head down next to her. "It was." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He gave a smile and placed a kiss to her nose before he felt his eyes get heavy. He hadn't slept in two days, and he was finally able to relax. With Rose in his arms. "I... love.. you... too..." 	She smiled back at him, not knowing when she had ever felt more at peace and happy. She observed for some time as he slept, finding it a bit amusing and cute at the same time. "Sweet dreams, Doctor." she whispered, relaxing, as she soon joined him in sleep. (Reply to this) (Parent)
