The night was chilly on this other world which resembled her own she noted as she walked down an alleyway, arms crossed against her chest in an attempt to stay warm It was a good thing that she had stuck to wearing the navy blue bomber jacket. But then she had noticed that about the weather on just about twenty of those other worlds as well. The stars were still up in the sky, which gave her some form of hope that maybe she wasn’t too late here, that maybe she’d finally find him. But that was really a one in one billion shot or even more than that. By now she should have given up, but the need was so pressing that she had to get back to him.

Finding the sidewalk, she trekked on finding it rather funny that there were no people around but then every world was different. Find the trouble and then find the Doctor, she reminded herself. It was simple enough of course, only this time unlike all those other times there didn’t seem to be any sign of trouble.

She sighed and then shook her head. She couldn’t have just missed it. Maybe she was early?

"Good eve, dearie," purred the dulcet voice of a woman, seemingly out of nowhere and perhaps sounding as if she spoke right over Rose's shoulder.

But the tall woman stood a fair distance away, not so far that she had to raise her voice but not too close for comfort. She had long wavey blond hair. Her dress was red, in the old-fashioned Victorian style. A light fog seemed to accompany her, concealing not her face yet trailing behind her in a diaphanous mist.

"Have you got yourself lost, my dear?" she asked, moving a graceful hand to lightly play with a strand of her fair hair. The mist moved in fine little coils around her hand.
