...omg, this is *awesome*.

Not only is he gorgeous -- which he is -- but the way you've set this up, the photos you've chosen, the sequencing of the images and the use of the text, just. Such a very, very cool project.

*friends to keep track of this*

Thank you!! I'm so glad it's something you can keep up with. I really really enjoyed doing this story, and I can't wait to do the next installment. I don't think I'll ever go back to the old way of doing stories. I've been planning it for ages, not sure I could pull it off... now I'm mentally thumbnailing the next episode. ^_^

and now I really have to go to bed.

Yay next episode! That's exciting. ^^

Also, regarding the feed -- you can change how that displays from this site (someone showed me how to do this so I wouldn't be dumping uncut porn into the f-lists of people watching mine). You go to the admin console for the journal that you're syndicating, and type the command "set synlevel summary" -- okay, no, it looks like since this is a community the command would read "set for childofglass synlevel summary", just like that only with no quote marks. That'll syndicate so that only the part of the post before the first blank line shows up on the feed, followed by a link to the rest. (On LJ I know that link looks like a cut.) You can also use "title" instead of "summary," which would cut the entire entry.

I hope that made sense. I have just barely woken up. ^^;;

Done! Thank you! That's a huge help. I'm such a moron with the feeds and things, so really I have very little idea how to wrangle them. Now I just have to sit back and wait until the feed switches over to IJ, and then I think finally I will be done fidgeting with the doll journal! Which would be really nice.

I've been going nonstop on this thing since about this time yesterday, trying to get the journals to look right and moving all the content and locking up and sweeping the floors and covering up the weird stains on the walls and moving furniture (metaphorically) so my eyeballs are kind of hanging out by now.

I have to be a big flailing dork for a minute and go "EEE" over all the tiny little detailly things. I-- I have this problem. This...fixation. On, on tiny versions of things.

Buckles! Gun! Goggles! Necklace! Cellphone! ljsdlaksjdlMILKCRATE!

Seconding what L said about how you've put it together, as well. Very easy to follow, and looks very interesting :33
