Who: Jenna and Nate When: Wednesday Afternoon, Week 10 Where: The living room at the DeWitt Mansion. Why: Jenna's trying to do all the cleaning so that poor old Gretchen doesn't have to work herself to death. Warnings: Probably PG, Jenna's not prone to cursing and they're just getting to know each other
When Emerson had told Jenna that he lived in a mansion, she honestly hadn't expected it be quite as large as it was. After all, she'd never really seen a mansion so she didn't really know what to expect. It had been a shock to see that people actually lived in such huge homes. Jenna had grown up living in small apartments, tents, abandoned buses, whatever they could make into a makeshift home... anything to stay off the grid and the radar of any supernaturals. This house was pure luxury and she loved it. She had her own room with a big, comfy bed, privacy, and she took pride in her new home.
Once she'd finally met Gretchen, Jenna had wanted to yell at Emerson. How could he let such an old woman work her tail off cleaning this place? Gretchen should be in charge of domestic slaves, making them do the actual hard labor. It looked as though she'd earned the right to relax on the physical labor some. One day, when she had the courage, she'd give Emerson a little piece of her mind about that. For now, she was working double time to try and make sure that the older woman didn't do too much.
With that work ethic in mind, Jenna pulled her hair up into a high, messy pony tail and dressed in jean shorts and a tank top. Music playing loudly in the livng room, since she'd made sure to shut all the doors to it, she danced around the room while singing along to the music and scrubbing every surface she could reach. The harder to reach places would have to wait until she could get a ladder.
