With everyone having spent days stuck inside together, with little to do, Laura was starting to pace a lot more than she usually did. It was something she did when she was worried, or stressed, and having so many people around... it was taking it's toll. While she might come from a big family, since the fire, she didn't like having too many people around all at once. It was nice on occasion, but other times it was too much. That if there were too many people in a house, it was too much of a target. That it could be burnt to the ground as well. The thought made Laura feel sick and she moved to a window in the hallway, looking out. No. The snow was still thick, she'd be fine.
In her pause, she heard in the distance the soft voice of her slave, almost chanting to herself, and she grew confused. Silently, she moved to her room, and pushed the door open. Standing in the doorway, she looked confused, and shut the door behind her.
