"Maybe he's scared too," Alice wondered. She'd always thought of most masters as these fearless, untouchable paragons of existence. They were in ways, but they weren't unshakable. "Not that you'll never be able to please him, but maybe he's learning new things too. New things or people or ways of thinking... They scare a lot of people, but they aren't bad. You just have to trust him. When you believe in someone, it's like..." She paused, waving her hands to emphasize her point. "It's like you're filling a car that almost ran out of gas with the best gas ever so it runs even better!" She blushed, a little embarrassed by her own enthusiasm. "A-at least, that's what the songs says, anyway. Not exactly in that way, of course."
Having been rather animated, Alice brought her hands back into the proper position she'd been shown. "I should write down the steps. I'll want to remember, but if I don't write it down, it'll run away from me."
