Ambrose was alright until Lucius talked about killing Buffy and then paying Ambrose. He almost saw red right there, but he had to keep his cool. This would not end well if he threw the first punch. "Unlike other supernaturals, which that would be fine with, I have enough money to last several lifetimes. I don't need more, although paying with your own life could be interesting."
"I never said, I didn't have innocent blood on me. Yes. I do." Ambrose stood up. "I have killed 288 men, women, and children in my few years under blood lust. But you know what I have that you never did? Experience on being on the other side. I was a human, and not a fake human that didn't know his powers or whatever you think to sleep at night. I was a human, I was a slave. Yes I was privileged, I wasn't treated like normal slaves, because I had that something special that every vampire looks for." Ambrose said, handing on to Buffy's hand.
"You value human's for the monetary value, I value them for what they mean inside. I strive to be as human as possible because I remember what it is like to be a monster, to crave power and blood. I will never go back there again. And because of that I prefer blood from bags. Not the way a vampire should feed, we are predators by nature, but I will not let the darkness destroy me. I wish you could say that same, Lucius, but I am thankful you are not the Daniel of olden days, because that means I am the one that has Buffy and she will never break rule number five." With the end of his speech he sat down.
"You are very welcome to leave, I can't not keep you or your human here, but as much as it grieves me to say, it is hailing outside."
