"You like listening to the birds?" She asked the girl, running a hand absent-mindedly through Alice's hair, soft and silky, just the way she liked it. The girl seemed obedient, so maybe training wouldn't be so bad on her. "What else do you like? I'm sure I can find ways for your free time to be enjoyable."
She held a hand out for the girl to stand once again, and nodded towards the door. "The tour of the estate will have to wait until another day, but I did want to take you somewhere important first off, so come on, now." The order was a little sharper, and she held the front door open for her. "You'll stay a step behind me, but not so far that you'll get lost. You don't need to stay looking at the ground for now, I want you to get used to your surroundings." Not knowing how the girl would react, she decided to leave talk of the branding for when she was there, and couldn't find a way to get away. After all, it was for her own good this had to happen.
