WHERE: Mitchell's
WHEN: Week 15, Monday evening-ish
WHY: Still Fed Up™ with Carrick's behaviour, Hermes goes to drop in on Mitchell
WARNINGS: Fast-Talking Fae meets the Golden Retriever of Vampires. Probably none.
At the beginning, his Master's fascination with the angel was kind of cute. Something dark and serious lusting utterly over a shining light like that. As soon as the Grace in a bottle arrived, however, it turned into the seriously disturbed. Hermes didn't like it, and the only way for the angel to make it out safely, to get what he was promised was if he listened to Hermes' advice. Judging by his Master's reaction earlier in the day, the boy had been.
None of that was an excuse for waking up someone who was barely allowed to sleep in the first place on his alleged day to himself. Alcuin had been a lovely distraction for a while, but even Hermes couldn't fight his impulses for too long.
It really was no surprise when he found himself leaning casually against the railing at the angel's Master's home waiting for the vampire to finally answer the doorbell. Where else was the man he saw in Samandriel's head going to be other than spending his whole day fretting over the angel in Carrick's hands? It was lovely that Mitchell cared, really. Few others seemed to, and if Hermes wasn't in a position of power at Carrick's household (however dangerous a position that was), he might've longed to belong to that vampire. Then again, Mitchell was young it seemed, and who knew how much control he had. Hermes might well have been dead within a month if not sooner.
When the door opened, he beamed brightly at the man. "Oh now glimpses and whispers did not do you justice."
