It wasn't long before they reached the property. The wooden bridge over the stream had been rebuilt and Russ drove over it slowly. They'd widened it so that it fit larger vehicles than his car, but still looked attractive. The gully that the stream flowed through had been widened by the flood. He pulled up in front of the cabin and got out. Cabin was really a misnomer. It was a two storey log home. The furnishings on the first floor had been replaced and the cellar was completely rebuilt.
"They did a good job fixing it," Russ said setting his duffel bag down in the living room.
