Nestled in Old Town, the church was built in 1880, during the height of the silver boom in Colorado. It was abandoned in the 1980s and sat empty until it was recently purchased by Metatron and converted into the Church of Beer. It's a trendy brew house becoming famous for the heavenly concoctions that it's formerly divine owner brews on site. Although the beer is the headliner, other spirits, dinner and happy hour specials are served.
Everyone is welcome to worship in the Church of Beer, Masters and Slaves alike. Both are served in the same areas.
Church is open seven days a week, Monday - Friday from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, Sunday 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Happy Hour is served Monday - Friday 5:00 - 7:00.
Owned and operated by Metatron, his two slaves and a small crew of hired help. It is rumored that the Church is part of an underground railroad helping escaped slaves reach sanctuary.
