WHO Jeremiah Joy and Logan Leeds
WHAT Random chattingness or whatever.
WHERE Some department store.
WHEN Sometime in the afternoon, on the 26th of January.

Jeremiah's old TV set, Lucille, had been steadily preparing to die. He could tell that old age was getting to her. The reception wasn't quite as alright as it had been just a year prior. It was pretty much rotten, which resulted in most of his TV being watched via a laptop and illegal downloading. So, as a result of the near death Lucille, Jeremiah had headed to a nearby department store under the pretense of merely browsing for a new TV. He didn't really want to replace Lucille, but it was pretty much long past due.

So, (sort of) reluctantly, Jeremiah was browsing the TV sets available in the department store. Maybe he'd find one to take Lucille's place so she could retire, who knew?

Logan didn't really know why he was in the department store, he had been in the Starbucks across the street, but hadn't felt like sitting there while he drank his coffee. So instead, with coffee in hand, he wandered into the department store. Mike had commented that he needed a tv in the back of the shop for when they couldn't be bothered to go out, or Mike kept him company while he made up big orders or something. Personally, Lo thought the last thing he needed in the shop was a television, especially if it encouraged Mike to come and hang in the shop rather than go out, but. The idea was growing on Lo. It wouldn't hurt to be able to watch television on the long nights when he had big orders to make up.

Occasionally sipping his coffee, Lo looked interested in the televisions and even more interested in the cute salesman. Wondering if he had a chance of picking up - what, it never hurt to wonder about it - he wandered closer and closer to ... oh hello. Now there was a face Logan recognised. Red poppy guy.

"Hello," He smiled and leered only the tiniest little bit.

Jeremiah looked up from the television he'd currently be inspecting when it appeared that someone was talking to him. It was the florist he'd bought from a few weeks prior. A little surprised to run into someone he recognized at all, Jeremiah half-smiled over at the guy.

"Hi," he replied, lifting a hand in a rather pathetic imitation of an actual wave. He contemplated saying something about how odd it was to randomly run into him, but decided against it. That might be a little awkward in the florist didn't actually recognize him and just happened to be making random conversation.

A wave? A wave? And a really lame one at that? Wow, that was so not on. Was it just Logan, or was the fine pass time of people getting together and actually talking to each other going to the dogs? Because he totally thought it was. Sure, he was here to potentially buy a tv, but that didn't mean that he couldn't have a good chat as well.

"Hey," Logan greeted again. "Buying a tv?"

Hey. He never said anything about the chat being particularly stimulating.

"Maybe," Jeremiah replied, with a small nod. "I might be buying a TV, but probably I'm just looking for the moment." At least, he was attempting to make himself think he was just looking. That way, when he found the perfect TV and wound up buying it? He didn't have to feel too guilty about replacing Lucille. After all, he'd just been looking at TVs. It wasn't his fault one of them seemed really nice and he couldn't help but buy it.

"I like to browse a few times before I actually buy, so I'm not missing the better deal." Which was actually quite true. Jeremiah tried not to buy things impulsively, although it did happen from time to time. "You?"

Logan laughed and was unable to refrain from teasing the man with the most unique name he'd come across in a long time.

"You know most people prefer to call that commitment phobia. Most girls find that a big turn off." And sure, Lo wasn't one to talk, not having had a boyfriend in what was probably over a year, content to hook up with randoms and flirt with everyone who wasn't likely to deck him. But he could still commit if he wanted to. He'd committed to his shop. He just needed to find the right man.

"But, you know. A good commitmentphobe needs a good florist, and now you know the best in the business." Yes, Logan Leeds was shameless, but whatever. It won him hearts. "How did the last bouquet go, by the way?"

"The last bouquet went just fine," he told the florist with a smile. "If I'm ever in the market for flowers again, I just might return to your shop."

A commitment phobe? Jeremiah contemplated that for a moment before dismissing the idea. He just liked to keep his options open in the beginning. Once he found something he liked, he tended to stick with it. This was, perhaps, why most of his belongings were rather old. He tended to put off replacing things until the last moment possible, as he tended to get attached to things. Even inanimate objects.

If Lucille wasn't so very close to death, Jeremiah probably wouldn't be in the store at all. He rarely bought things unless there was an absolutely dire need. Hell, he still had a CD player (Flash) rather than an iPod. He'd upgrade when Flash finally kicked the bucket.

"I wouldn't say I'm a commitment phobe, though. I know a good thing when I see it," Miah added. "Just a little picky."
