Why did he have to pop up into her mind just as she was in a class that she actually had to pay attention in. Truthfully he'd popped into her head a few more times, she didn't like that either. She liked being left to think about other things. Stupid boys. Not even that, it was making her nervous. PARKER HALLIWELL NERVOUS. It wasn't cool at all. She sighed pulling out her mobile.

She went to his number before pausing and shutting the phone. It took her a good three tries before she actually pressed the send key. She felt her heart start to speed up... Maybe he wouldn't answer? She could just leave a message right? That should work... Or could, or something.

Parker started walking towards her apartment hoping that something good would happen...

She was freaking out as she waited for him to answer.

Just getting out of the shower, Dan dried himself off and started to get dressed. He'd been out jogging, an attempt to catch up on the workouts he'd been neglecting the past few weeks. He didn't have any real plans for that night. Well, not any night, really. The only people he knew were a few neighbors in his building and the people he was interviewing with. And Parker. But that was in a 'don't know really well' kind of way, thus why he never really had any plans. The schedule that he usually set for himself every week was practically empty, aside from interview days. He spent a lot of time just wondering around the city, exploring it's vastness.

He was about half way dressed when the sound of very vintage music became apparent, accompanied by a funny buzzing sound. He knew that song. It was Cat Scratch Fever by Ted Nugent. Wildy popular back in it's glory days. Dan looked around for a moment, trying to remember where he'd put his cell phone. Rummaging through a pile of laundry, he finally found it, pulling it from the pair of jeans he'd been wearing earlier that day.

It was a number he didn't recognize. Normally, he didn't answer those, but he got a feeling it was someone he'd like to talk to. Flipping open the phone, he raised it to his ear and said, "Hello?"

	Parker could feel the nerves hitting her as she heard his voice on the other line. "Dan? It's Parker." She said after half a second of pausing. Why couldn't he have just not answered his phone? Voice mail was so much easier. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Hi." She added again with a small laugh. Parker was nervous. "I was actually calling to see if you'd like to come to a family picnic?" Parker said answering. A family picnic? Dan scratched his head, taking a moment to contemplate the invitation. Wait, did it mean she wanted him to meet her family? Isn't it a little soon for that? They'd only been on one date.

He didn't want to say no because he really did want to see her again. And meeting new people? That was a plus. He just hoped they were normal enough, like her. They probably were. "Uh, sure. That'll be great." He finally answered.

Parker could feel herself getting nervous, was he going to say no? Was he going to say yes? Was it too early? Probably, but well she wasn't sure she wanted to admit that. Parker just wanted him to have more fun right? That was important, besides she had cousins, they had friends too... It'd be good for him to find a few friends right? So why was she so nervous? "Awesome." She finally said. "I'm working tonight, you should stop by." She finally said standing up again.

Dan couldn't help but smile and feel a little giddy. "Oh yeah, of course. I'll be sure to come down a bit later." He answered, scratching the side of his chin. He turned around on his bed, rummaging through a pile of clean laundry he had yet to sort out. "So, this picnic... should I be on the lookout for any off beat relatives? An Aunt who thinks she's a lighthouse? A cousin who thinks he's come crazy Don Juan that's intimidated by other men?" He joked, laughing a bit.

"Awesome." Parker could feel her smile grow more and more. It'd be nice to see Dan, besides he was hot and fun to see. Parker started to head towards her apartment laughing slightly.

"I have a sister who loves wedding, and a set of twin cousins who are always amusing. Aunt Piper is the best cook in the city, and Aunt Paige has a really funny sense of humor." She said shrugging slightly laughing. She'd get to the others later.
