7:35 pm [untoldsecrets]	rules .. premise .. cast page .. application The game will run in real time and will focus on the lives of our favourite upper-east siders. It's the summer before their final year in high school, and drama is sure to be in abundance. Will Blair and Nate get it together, or did Nate's time with Serena help him to get over his ex-flame? Will Dan be able to forgive Serena? And will Little J ever rise to the 'Queen B' status? Only time will tell. you know you love me gossip girl Looking to cast Jenny Humphrey, Vanessa Abrams, Rufus Humphrey, Lily van der Woodsen Bass, and all minor characters such as Kati, Is, Hazel etc! 12:35 pm [forgotham_mod]	It has been 21 years since Batman first appeared in Gotham. 17 years since he had a run in with Catwoman, an elegant and seductive criminal that turned out to be the love of his (and Bruce Wayne's) life. So much so that she gave up her life of crime to fight along side him (and be Bruce's wife). And 11 years since he disappeared. Following a long and gruesome war with the Joker (one the claimed the lives of not only many civilians but Catwoman as well), Bruce Wayne hung up his cape and cowl. With Selina gone, he was now the only person their six year old daughter had and he would not see her orphaned the way he had been. Let the Gotham Police handle the criminals. He was done. From that day forward he would concentrate on being Bruce Wayne -- Father, Philanthropist, and CEO of Wayne Enterprises. The Joker escaped, off to lick his wounds in Metropolis or whatever city he choose to wreck havoc on next, but the police did manage to get their hands on Harley Quinn. Sent back to Arkham, she remained there for almost ten years before being declared legally sane and rehabilitated. Now she's back on the streets, supposedly a new person. But then...why is she rounding up some of the Joker's old henchmen. Turns out she is about to declare her own war on the Bat...one that she hopes will bring him out of hiding. Because, you see, she wants to string him up as a welcome home present for her Mr. J who she knows will be coming home anyday. The only problem with her plan is Huntress, Gotham's newest caped crusader. For the past six months she has been working to foil Harley's schemes. Who is she? What's her connection to Batman? And is she really the savior everyone thinks she is? The battle for Gotham is about to begin. forgotham is a different kind of Batman game set in the "Nolanverse" but borrowing from all other Batsources. My hope is that by combining all these elements with a unique plot and placing them in a grittier, less stylized world that it will give the players a new freedom with which to explore their favorite characters. Forgotten Gods follows the lives of these old deities, brought to America long ago by explorers or immigrants from their homelands and eventually abandoned or lost from memory. As their worshippers moved on to new religions, the gods' powers waned - for a god, at its most pure essence, is no more than an idea, and an idea is worthless if there is nobody to believe in it. Some have passed, forgotten, from the world, while others have fallen into madness. Some have simply tried to adapt, to make a life for themselves in this place without gods, getting by on what little scraps of worship and belief they can garner. These newcomers are regarded dismissively by some of the older gods, who have seen so many new deities rise and fall in their time; jealously by others, who wish to reclaim the power for their own; and by all with a deep wariness. Storm... wait, come to think of it, it's not easy being ANY superhero. What if you - Mr. or Mrs. Superhero - were given a chance to show the world, or at least network television, precisely how difficult the role is. ============ I'm looking to cast TEN - that's right! only TEN more players and characters for this game. That will give us a cast of twelve characters and players. I'm looking for male and female superheros from both Marvel and DC universes. The idea for the premise is simple - think The Real World, but everyone is a superhero! So... what sort of game is it? Essentially, it's a social game, but in addition to the normal aspects of a social game, everyone is being forced to live together. I'm looking at this as a chance to explore characterization... and hopefully meet a few good roleplayers, too. The application process is simple - it's not your normal hundred statistical questions and give me all the history of your character. It's the basics plus five in depth personality questions... and still, you don't have to write an essay. I just want to make sure you can write, follow basic grammar rules, and give me some idea to the personality of your character. REMEMBER: There's only ten spots left, and they're going to go quickly. They were created to make life easier on the Twelve Colonies. And then the day came when the Cylons decided to kill their masters. After a long and bloody struggle an armistice was declared. The Cylons left for another world. The humans slowly recovered. A remote space station was built where Cylon and human could meet and maintain diplomatic relations. Every year the Colonials send an officer... Every year the Cylons send no one. No-one had seen or heard from the Cylons in over forty years... ... until they returned without warning. Developing, growing in its hatred of its own creators, they grew to the point of emulating them to infiltrate their government and take down their defenses. 12:05 pm [xpat]	IT WAS TOO LATE The world has changed drastically from that of what anyone remembers, and it is far worse than anyone could have imagined. Though for a few months the right wing evangelicals swore up and down it was the second coming of their Lord and that they had been warning of this very day for so long. For the FOH (Friends Of Humanity) this was just the outcome of the human race working too slowly to purify the world of it's messed up DNA. For those sane enough to understand what was going on, to really see the truth behind the mess of the world - it was just another day for the world to end. Another day to be a hero...except that day stretched into years. THE GAME If you miss comic based X-Men, and enjoy mature (often dark themed) game play, then this game might be exactly what you've been looking for in an X-Men RPG. We're looking for active writers with active imaginations and a willingness to work well with others. Don't think you have to be a mutant, if you have a dark side that has always wanted to rip into the mutant DNA just to see what really makes them tick, maybe you'd be more happy with the Purifiers - who seem to be very happy raiding and slaughtering when they aren't experimenting.
