Notes: Yes, I've written this pairing. No, I still don't like it. I claimed it for the challenge of trying to write hot smut for a pairing I don't like and make it good. While I knew that Roy and Ed could be written into a pairing situation and still kept in character, since there are a few fics out there that manage to pull it off, I was really at a loss for a setting. Although this stands alone very well, I borrowed off a larger plot that I've poked at in fics with friends that feature a polyamorous relationship between Ed, Riza, and Roy. There are a few mentions of het in this, although Riza makes no appearance -- she's not even in the same part of the country as the boys. I also like to write slash that goes against the usual conventions and bucks the stereotypes.
Summary: Edward didn't explode at the jab to his height in a manner Mustang predicted, judging by the stunned flash in wide, dark eyes as Ed grabbed him by his shirtfront and hooked an ankle around his knees, sending him to the floor before Mustang could react.

When You Touch Me

He knew his automail hand was cold. But he wore gloves so often, and Al had been the only person he was around regularly enough to touch without them that it was easy to forget. But Riza never flinched or jumped, even when he knew it had to be a shock. It was moments like those which made him love her all the more, just as she didn't flinch then when cold, metal fingers touched her face.

He watched her, that beautiful, lethal, loyal woman beside him on the bed. He wouldn't have blamed her if she did, if she protested to the heavier weight of his metal limbs, if she didn't want anything to do with him at all, fallen, damaged sinner that he was.

Ed wasn't prepared to fall in love all over again when she caught his hand and pressed her lips to the cool metal, knowing he couldn't feel it the way his other hand could. She accepted him as he was, without reservation, and he again felt luckier than he had any right to be that at the right moment in time, he'd caught that glimpse of a warm heart under that rigid military mask.

Summary: With a restored Al, Ed returns to Central for a State Alchemist reevaluation, and while there, he chooses to seek absolution and make right something that went horribly wrong during another such visit years ago.
Notes: This fic was originally supposed to be a simple little PWP from a bunny that bit me while reading Angelus. The characterization in that was centered around a rather cracktastic dream, so it shouldn't have been too hard, right? Ha. Tricksy little bunnieses. Excuse the references of Roy's characterization. That was kept constant with the doujinshi. The rest of it though? The bunnies demanded it be kept in-character. Very absurdly in-character and plot-intensive for what was supposed to be a simple, damned PWP. Bunnies lie, I tell you this now. In interest in keeping this from getting even more out of control than it already has, I'm not going to waste a long build-up explaining the last five or so years since the events in "Angelus" (which I'll recap sufficiently so actual reading of the doujinshi isn't necessary) We'll just say things went differently, Ed got Al restored at least, and did not end up across the Gate, and so far things are still status quo more or less in the military. Please remember, the setting and history I'm working off'a? Comes from a doujinshi. Which are usually just this side of the WTF line if not way the hell over with headlong abandon anyway.

I also blame Al. Al pwnz everybody. Al demanded fluffy gen screentime with his brother. When Al demands, Al gets.
