Getting the Heck out of Dodge

Summary: Strix has no intention of actually sleeping in that room. Ever. She comes to collect her things and finds Light there. A confrontation ensues.

Sometime after recovering after a very long night of binge drinking, Strix had realized that she left her backpack in room 102. She had the worst hang over in, oh, over 300 years, and she was not feeling exactly sunny. She wanted her stuff though, so she trudged up the stairs and down the hallway. She opened the door and found Light typing on his computer, the clock mess still everywhere. She snorted. Stubborn ass.

The keys made soft clacking noises as he pressed each down in quick succession. A sound that some would find maddening..but that he had grown so used to that it was more of a comfort for him than insanity.

Of course, unbeknownst to him..he had grown quite comfortable with insanity as well.

Though, even in his own mind, the sounds of the chains that were attached to his wrists by shackles.....were quite maddening. He could hardly stand it! To be placed in chains like some prisoner. He didn't deserve prison! He deserved a mighty throne on top of the world with many worshipers in the clean Earth he provided for them!

He heard her enter and didn't even turn to face her, too consumed in what he was doing to care.

Strix strode across the room and grabbed up her things, stuffing them into her pack. She didn't know where she was going to be sleeping yet, but it was not going to be here with him in the next bed.

Strix had intended the rescue of her things to be quick and dirty. Get in, get out, the end. But as she made her way back across the room to the door, she found that she could not keep in the things she was thinking in. Perhaps it was the hangover. She paused and whirled back on him, slamming her fist down into his keyboard, and looking him in the eyes from maybe two inches away.

"I know what you are, Kira," she hissed nastily. "Everyone else here may think that you're just a 'confused good guy', but you don't have me fooled. You are a monster."

	He glared. How dare she? Like she knew anything about justice! He was a good thing for his world..and she was simply an old fool who wouldn't understand. "..You messed up my program." He replied monotonely, keeping his gaze on her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"I'd rather have a room to myself anyway. That will only make me happier." He smirked. "And I can see why you would be afraid." He leaned closer, whispering. "You deserve to die, don't you? 	A body stood between Strix and Light in an instant as a large hand caught her talons and used that grip to tug her closer to Lucifer's . He had strength that shouldn't exist in his thin body as his sinister, ever so slightly slanted onyx gaze stared into Strix's eyes. "Ah, ah, ah," he said in a tsk-like manner. 	Strix narrowed her gaze on Lucifer's eyes and and glowered at him with the bright glowing fury of a predator denied its prey. Her talons snapped hopefully under Lucifer's grip in Light's direction, but she made no sudden moves towards him. She grolwed deep, deep in her throat.
