So Many People To Keep In Line
Who: Lucifer and Light
Where: Room 102
When: Before Light announces that he's ready to get down and dirty and work with Niflheim again.
Rating: PG-13 (likely to change)
Warnings: Harrassment, cruelty and Lucifer being Lucifer
Summary: Lucifer is tired of the way Light's behaving and wants to ensure that Light...behaves. Rather, he wants to ensure that Light continues being a 'servant' of Niflheim and its purpose, whether he likes it or not.

Lucifer's hair was dark red and parted so that one of his golden eyes barely peeked through the bangs that covered the left side of his face. His hair was neat but again he was dressed in leather pants and chains not unlike a punk. The difference?

Lucifer made it look good. The fact that he actually was able to appear intimidating in any type of clothing just didn't need to be said. His long-sleeved, button down shirt was neatly pressed and he adjusted the cuffs before knocking on the door of Light's room.

He figured this would be much better conducted in private. He was tired of the way Light was behaving - no, the raping of Ryuzaki didn't bother him at all. He was pleased that Light had managed to cause unrest among almost all of Asgard in the process. They were all distressed about what had occured in some way. That's not what bothered him...it was the goody-goody manners he'd been projecting towards everyone. Yeah, yeah, you feel bad. Whatever, fruitloops. Lucifer snorted. Still, some of this new knowledge would give him an advantage in dealing with Light, he believed.

Light had just gotten back from his little escapade and was walking down the halls of Niflheim just then. His hands in his pockets and his mind far off.

L had...L had...

He felt....absolutely wonderful right now. He would not let L down! He would prove to him that he meant what he said! He would!

It was then he glanced up, seeing his visitor at the door to his room.

He would not mess this up.

Smirking, he approached. "Do you have something you wish to speak to me about, sir?"

	Lucifer didn't even turn to face him. He merely held his hand in front of the door, forced it to open... Before pivoting around and raising a hand. Light's chains jumped to his palm so he could clutch them tightly. He tugged to force Light inside of the room with him. "Yes, I think I do," he growled with a smirk. 	Light 'meep'ed slightly at being pulled so unexpectedly. He found himself inside his room before he could hardly think, but turned to glare at Lucifer once they were inside. "Ah, you forgot the sir, Yagami Light," Lucifer murmured, tugging on the chains to pull him close. "You know, I never would've thought these chains would be good for anything," he commented, glancing at them for a moment before his golden gaze returned to Light. "Clearly, this needs to be rethought. But I digress."

His tone was dark and his voice rumbled slightly as he spoke. "You're forgetting your agreement with me -- for Satan -- Yagami Light. You want a shiny new Death Note, don't you? Then why are you playing with L and behaving as if you're a good soul deep down inside?" He bent his face even closer to Light's. "Whether you are or not is of no concern to me - you made a deal, Light. And yet you're going around trying to tell everyone how good you are when you were on the right track when you ran that distressing current through all of Asgard by raping your obsession."

"I'm not Satan, what the fuck gave you the impression I was omniscient? Lucifer's my name. Satan ain't it. She's much more dangerous than I am, I assure you," he snickered. He took Light's chin between the thumb and forefingers of his free hand. "Do not attempt to mess with me, Light. I can kill you without repercussions, unlike the others in Niflheim. And you can't kill me. Try, if you want. Shoot me, try to tear off limbs - you won't be able to." He smirked.

"But we're not here to figure out what I can and can't do - well, we both know you're trying, but let's just pretend you aren't a completely stupid prick - we're here to figure out why, of all things, you seem to be making enemies with everyone in Niflheim and trying to make buddies with the kid you raped."

"I've decided not to, Lucifer. I just came back from a very thoughtful walk. Cleared up my head a bit. I was just about to post a journal entry about it, matter of fact." Light replied, staring him in the ever-changing eyes. "L is not my friend, and the guilt I felt before was just getting in my way. I plan to use the fact that his mind is now not at full capacity, due to what I did, to my advantage. Since our upcoming trial is apparently mental and he isn't able to think as clearly, I see it not being as much of a problem for us now."

"Kira's purpose, hmm..." Lucifer's eyes trailed over Light, assessing his words - and quite possibly more than that. "Kira," he murmured. It would be interesting to see "who" won within Light. Would Light unravel Kira, or would Kira unravel Light?

Still, it might be amusing to see Light's reaction if he shared certain things...true or not. "That part of you reminds me of an older time, where one such as you tried to perfect the world." Would it intrigue him? Would it be catalogued in that brain of Light's? It might be - all the more interesting if he tried to find out more... His smirk widened for a moment, then, and he slid his hand along Light's skin to reach the young man's hair and tug on it slightly as he bent to almost, but not quite, press his lips against Light's. Instead, they merely brushed the human's, and Lucifer pulled back slightly. "That alone is enough to intrigue me."

Light's breath caught in his throat for a moment, staring back at Lucifer with...was it shock? If it was, he was hiding it well behind his apathetic expression...There was something there though. Curiosity, perhaps? Or something stranger?

He moved his lips a bit as if to start to say something, his mouth opening slightly as words attempted to flee, but couldn't.

The reaction pleased Lucifer ever so much. But he didn't let that show - instead he brushed his fingers over Light's lips as he finally let go of those chains. "Similarities and differences, Kira, can be overly fascinating at times, can't they?" he noted cryptically. Perhaps there were more things he could provide for Kira, if it encouraged his interest in working for Niflheim. After all, Kira did remind him of someone...

	Light breathed in deeply, trying to remain calm. "..Who..do I remind you of?" he asked after finally finding his voice, though he had a feeling he knew who Lucifer was talking about. He was feeling hot. Was it the atmosphere around Lucifer or just what was going on? It had to be Lucifer's naturally radiating heat. Light was calm. He was. No exceptions. 	"Me," Lucifer answered simply, before adding, "a long time ago." He was fairly certain it was obvious - at least for one such as Light -- or Kira, rather. He much preferred "Kira". What he'd said was a dramatic enough line for an exit, he supposed, but he wondered how Light might respond if he remained to witness the reaction. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He waited a few moments, looking at Light for a little longer before he finally pulled away, his hands leaving the human as well. "For now. Well then...this is where i'll take my leave." He glanced at Light.

The kid better start behaving...if that particular kind of encouragement was what was effective, then he'd certainly give it. But if the kid chose to act like a fool and not do what he'd been brought here to...

Then he'd show the kid who he needed to obey.

	Lucifer simply kept walking forward until he began to fade away, disappearing entirely before he even reached the door. But before that - just a moment before, Lucifer glanced back. Just obey, kid, and everything'll go much better for you. (Reply to this) (Parent)
