Who: L and Rachel What: Angst, alcohol, and adorkableness. When: The final day Where: The coffee shop in emptiness Rating: PG to PG-13? Warnings: Angst, alchohol and adorkableness
L really hadn’t given much thought as to what he wanted to do now that it was over. Initially he had thought once the trials ended he would go back to being dead, and unlike Rachel’s world, he was doubtful that his world had a Heaven or Hell for him to go to. The math didn’t seem to add up as there was too much time between his death and his arrival here that was unaccounted for. Rachel had at least remembered something after her death. For him, there was nothing.
After wiping everything from his computers and shutting everything down, he proceeded to the coffee shop Rachel had asked to meet him. Based on what L read on the comm. system, it seemed as though she wanted to say her goodbye in person, which was fine.
When he stepped through the door, the place appeared to still be empty. Rachel had a little bit further to walk than he did so he imagined it might take her a little longer to get here.
He put some coffee on to brew, then took a seat in one of the beanbag chairs and waited.
