Chaos Unraveled OOC Community

Uh, alright. I really can't believe I'm doing this, but I haven't been "feeling the magic" for quite a while. Man, this is so hard. I'm going to have to leave CU. While I've had tons of fun and have made a lot of great friends here (friends I hope will stay in touch with me? D:), life has been pulling me in other directions and I just don't feel as connected to this game as I once did. I love the interactions, the developments, the drama, and the plotting, but I'm just so drained. Blame RL, blame my lack of willpower, but I just can't feel motivated about the game anymore.

I know some people had major plans regarding Sal's finale, and I apologize. But everyone here is remarkably creative and talented and there will be so much else to do. For my remaining characters, Dorian and Sal's "time ran out". Sal's insanity will have pushed him to the edge, and his body deteriorates into ash. Dorian will find that his body is unable to handle the physical and emotional strains of this world and will ask that his souls be taken to heaven. Meanwhile, I can have Sandalphon kill Tailypo, having caught him trying to get back into Asgard's property. As for Sandalphon herself, you can say she's always there, but she's silently watching.

Again, I hope people keep in touch. I really see you guys as a kind of family to me, you know? You've been good to me for the 1+ year I've been here. I really do apologize for being so abrupt. I love you guys! ♥

Edit: Also, if everyone would be so kind as to ICly take note that Blythe left farewell messages to Asgard and Niflheim? I emailed the players who received personal letters from her, but I wanted everyone to know that while I didn't post her letters in her IJ, I know it wouldn't be IC of her to leave without a word. She explained herself to Asgard and told them that they were the best family she could have ever had and that she'd try to keep in touch with them. As for Niflheim, she said "up yours" (paraphrased) to the really bad inhabitants, and spoke kindly to the ones who were nice to her. I hope this isn't too much trouble! I appreciate it, and thank you! ♥

As an official note, the MD page has been updated!

Just remember that the MD days for October and further may change, because by that point I or the secretary will be making a post along the lines of, "So, guys, pros and cons of this method vs. the older method and any ideas YOU think we should consider timeline-wise?" All I ask is that people be good sports and try this method and see if it has any benefits. I can always remove it if it fails hardcore.

I really hate to do this. Especially since I've been so active recently, with the Brandy plot and all. And I know I'm in a lot of threads, too.

But I have to leave the game. There are some personal issues in my life that I need to take care of, and, unfortunately, real life does come first. I'm so sorry. Please take Sal, Blythe, and Dorian off your friends lists.

I really hope to keep in touch with everyone here. All of you are so wonderful, and I feel so awful doing this. Everybody, take care. Okay? ♥

I have internet! I have to share with my family since nobody else has their computer hooked up and my spacebar got fucked up in the move so I have to bash on it to make it work but I should still be updating regularly, so it's all good!

Though I do have some bad news: I'm going to be dropping L'Arachel. I'm not exactly the fastest poster in the world, so I probably shouldn't try juggling three characters. That, and I just haven't been feeling the magic lately. So that means that raustenprincess is leaving the game. To everyone that she was involved with, I'm sorry.

Come January 30th, a few new characters will be arriving into the realm unless I don't hear back from them by that date.

I have had to reject a lot of the applications submitted because of the imbalance between Niflheim and Asgard, however, so those who don't see their characters here - I apologize.

There's also a few character removals that I failed to announce a month or two ago:
Sia's characters: Shinji Mimura (bakuhatsushinji) and Souji Okita (taichouokita) - are to be removed from your lists due to inactivity.

Monkey's characters: Gin Ichimura (kisama) and Dr. Cox (coxtastic) - are also to be removed from your lists due to inactivity.

Sia here! Unfortunately, even though I haven't had him that long, I will be dropping Rion (apolinar) since I absolutely cannot get a feel for his character. I was hoping that being involved in a thread would help with that, but apparently not D: (Many apologies to Zefiris-mun).

So, if you can, please remove apolinar from your f-list.

I will hopefully be picking up a different character in his place, and... I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to how the character would fit in with the game if I did app for him? I've put some info up here, so if anyone has any ideas, I'd be happy to here them :D Since I don't want to pick up a character I'm going to struggle with again orz He'd be on Niflheim's side since I'm taking him mid-series (and I'm not 100% sure as to how closely Maou will follow Mawang until the end).

He's a lawyer, but is slightly not 100% correct in the head. Other than that he's a pleasant guy. If you can ignore the almost permanent BLANK EXPRESSION.

We are saying goodbye to Nix (lj user="midsummers_eve"), as Nix has stumbled accidentally upon one of the many portals within the realm. He's been transported back home, where he shall stay.

Please remove Nix from your friendslists. =3

The timeline has been updated (though it's missing a thread or two) and a character needs to be removed.

Due to inactivity, please remove Alice Liddell (NOT Alice Elliot!) from your friendslists. The quick add list will have a removal command for that account name as of now.

On the bright side, we may have a few new characters that'll even up the teams a bit more. Those of you already in the game who submitted applications? I will look at yours very soon - i've been extremely busy.
