Upcoming Plot and Upcoming Hiatus


My life is going to be getting a lot busier this month and next month, which is why I've decided to scrap a lot of the Sal plots I originally was developing and only really stick to the major Blythe New Year plot. I don't know the specifics, but I'll be moving sometime in the next two months. And that aside, there's a lot of things going on right now that really call for my attention. Because of this, I drafted out a plot that I don't have to really start until the end of January/beginning of February.

But I wanted to talk about the plot with everyone a fair bit of time in advance because I don't know if I'll get a good time further on to really discuss it. Also, because of the nature of it, I think a head's up is fair to everyone. With permission from the mod, I am devising a plan in which Sal takes on female form, gets some new clothes, colors her hair red and wears blue colored contacts and masquerades as a new member of Asgard. The character's name is Brandy (Brandi and I had originally used it as a joke and it stuck) and she's everything you don't want in a new member of Asgard. Sal will be portraying her as the stereotypical female - the sort that comes with the stigma of, "You are female. All females are/must be this way." Brandy will be empty-headed, gossipy, concerned with material possession, sexual (Sal shudders), and an abuser of alcohol (Sal shudders again). Her main goal is to be the most friendly girl in Asgard - the one that everyone, particularly talkative girls and looking-for-love guys can condide in.

Because Sal's game isn't really to start a fire in the kitchen or unleash crocodiles in the pool. Sal wants to, through gossip and perhaps even well-developed 'friendships', learn about the other members of Asgard and hopefully takes what she learns and uses it against everyone. It's about ruining trust, questioning allies, and setting the stage for paranoia. Now that is the intent. It doesn't mean it has to work. It's something that I want to develop naturally. However, because I put so much planning and so much thought into this, I ask that nobody 'solves' the identity thing immediately. I know we have very intuitive and intelligent characters in the game, but I'm going to work very hard on making Brandy passable, even with the ridiculously assinine profile I made for her. If I feel like anyone is confusing OOC knowledge with IC knowledge, I will ask them to stop immediately.

I expect Brandy will be discovered at some point during her stay in Asgard. But Sal will try very hard to prolong her time in Asgard by posting pre-recorded entries on Sal's site, making it look as though Sal is still in Niflheim. So if Brandy is in Asgard on February 2nd, and Sal makes a post the same day, it's been pre-recorded and set to post on that day to trick everyone. The Mod is also going to have Metatron slightly incapacitated (injury, exhaustion, what she pleases) at the time so that he doesn't immediately recognize that Brandy wasn't sent by his God.

This is something meant to be non-threatening and actually kind of fun. I know Sal's intention is to cause rifts in Asgard, but the method is meant not to cause pressure or stress. If you'd rather your character(s) was not involved in Brandy's 'circle of friends', please tell me and I won't have her press your character for information or pressing for information on your character.

And yay, I set up the journal this afternoon. Because with the next couple of months going nuts, the chances of me forgetting to do that would be very high. xD Here it is. Enjoy the sarcasm!



I'm going to be on hiatus from December 4th to December 9th. I'll try to stay on top of the threads as much as possible!
