The Talisman Sign-up Sheet
Alright, thee's five more talismans to find and all Asgardians (even if you were shy and hadn't voted yet) can have a turn as long as the people who officially volunteered first get their chances.

More information about the talismans will be given soon, but baaasically...here's every poem and where the talismans can be found (though the characters are not receiving the location with them - and please wait until Sydonai gives the poems ICly herself to the others before reacting to these in-character.) Each talisman, with the exception of #2 and #6, should have two or more people on it.


#2: "Find the athame for an act most profane,
That dreadful lesson taught to Man by Cain;
Owned by one well versed in abuse,
A viper whose bargain will be hard to refuse."

Talisman: The viper athame/dagger

#3: "Guide and mother, witch and crone,
Moonless nights are hers alone.
At the empty’s crossroads’ core,
Lies the bony tool for opening doors."
Location: Emptiness
Talisman: Hekate's skeleton key
Mission type: Intellectual/non-violent
Signed-up: Blythe, Morana

#4: "I hide where Roman kings would bathe
A symbol of strength encased in white
Without a head I cannot save
Those without power and might."
Location: The floating islands
Talisman: A laurel crown of white gold.
Mission type: Intellectual but scary (i.e.: when you take the talisman from its hiding place, the island will FALL...but it will also stop before it comes close to hitting the ground)

#5: "What once was the sword in the stone
Now lies in a watery grave
Golden at dawn, at dusk, at noon
It shares its bed with a tyrannical queen
With eight deadly arms, plus two -
What kind of peace can it gain?"
Location: Luminous lake
Talisman: Clarent, King Arthur's sword of peace
Mission type: Fighters and people not afraid of water. Only one monster though - a giant squid.
Signed-up: Lina, Vader, Henry/Maria (player can choose)

#6: "A glittering eye on a magnificent blade
As far away as it can be
It never leaves its master's side
Except for justice, swift and sure
With eagerness and pride."
Location: Surprise!
Talisman: Surprise!
Mission type: Secret!
Signed-up: You can have characters try to figure out the riddle, by all means, but the last talisman will show up on a specific date as stated previously on the OOC board.
