Personality Switch Day
On February 13th, everyone will be subject to another wacky Malfunction Day. Provided in the link is the list of characters and their new personalities. This includes the characters who will be joining us on January 30th and Brandy.

Una gets Frank's personality.
Blythe gets Medusa's personality.
Maria gets Lina's personality.
Dorian gets Carrion's personality.
Alessa gets L'Arachel's personality.
Banru gets Henry's personality.
Frank gets Reno's personality.

Please note that when switching personalities, you are not gaining the memories of the person whose personality you have acquired. Nor have you gained their powers. You can, however, gain slight aspects of their knowledge. (Example: Dorian gains Carrion's personality. Dorian cannot make stitchlings, but he has the ability to mix chemicals and make experiments. This ability will be lost to him when he transforms back to normal.)

This is also a free post for players to ask questions to other players about the personalities they are gaining.

Edit: Apologies to Fey and Hannah and thanks to Hannah for pointing this out: I gave both Una and Kamina Frank's personality. Kamina will now be gaining Myre's (who I seemed to have accidentally skipped when reassigning) personality instead. Sorry! D:

	Hahaha! I don't know L'Arachel especially well (but Brandi plays her, so she'd be glad to help you), but the girl is LOUD and RIGHTEOUS and CONDESCENDING and FOR THE GRACE OF GOD. I thought Alessa would be perfect for that. And yes, me too! Okay, for those of you getting my characters' personalities here's a run down of what they are.

Alessa Gillespie - The key thing to consider is that she has two distinctive personalities; one that loves people, and one that hates people. Of course she makes all attempts to hide this so as not appear as someone with split personality disorder. As a whole she's calm, anger her and she tends to strike back.

Eileen may also gain some knowledge of how to do magic.

Allen Schreiber/Flauros - He's an asshole with a purpose, believe it or not. He rarely tells the truth about anything; is deathly afraid of triangles; and he gives people shitty advice.

There is a method to this personality though. Flauros is a sadist who wants nothing more than to watch other people suffer.

Thomas Stabile/Raziel - Know-it-all jerk, but not above learning. He has very little faith in anything. Is impatient, cusses a lot, and insults people (but only when they severely aggravate him.)

Whoever got his personality will gain temp knowledge of creating sigils, and also temp knowledge of Gematria; the root of Raziel's power.

In one word, Banru is a douchebag.

Outwardly he'll be kind and gentlemanly to everyone. Inwardly, though, he's a selfish scheming bastard that doesn't care about those around him and will use anyone and everyone to reach his goals. In other words, LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING. However, he is also capable of empathy and even kindness, though both are buried so deep under layers of LOL ASSHOLE that they're almost nonexistent. He's been extra evil while in this game because he wants to win no matter what to get back to killing the Big Bad in his universe (in which he is, bizarrely, the hero), though that won't apply to Yako when she gets his personality, since she isn't getting his memories.

Yako could gain some magical knowledge, though she will not be able to use any complex spells which require symbols. In other words: Yako can change her hair pink, create a small flame in her hand, do a gust of wind, ect. Small stuff. However, she cannot hurl fireballs or start gale force winds.

I'm really sorry for Blythe, she'll have to cope with a really two faced, bitchy personality for the day. XD And-And the mental image of Carrion stuttering, even though it might not happen with the switch...*brainbreak*

Heh, I have an excuse now to use more sultry icons for Morana instead of cute ones. X3 And oh dear, Medusa will lose all dignity during this. ;D

I know, right? Haha, I kept thinking to myself, "I want to give the darker characters cuter personalities and give the sweeter characters more devious personalities." At first I was like, should Medusa get Balam...? And then I realized, that, yes, she's devious and he's crass, so that would be a funny twist for her. xD

I am absolutely loving this list~!

Let's see, since you're getting one of my characters (Carrion), Vicky, I believe you know pretty much all about his personality: plays the gentleman, hides inner psychopath, and loves to scheme/experiment.

Mitchell is a lot of hot air and has a short temper, and is very protective of others that he cares about. Walter can accidentally make things spontaneously burst in fire when angry, but not be able to actually make fireballs, infernos etc. (Fires will also quickly be put out because it needs Mitch's actual energy to sustain it, not Walter's).

Emerald is lascivious, bitchy, and likes to ridicule others. Her powers with plantlife won't transfer to Zefiris, but Zefiris might feel the desire to make poisons and have a fascination with daggers.

That's it for me~

Midvalley is basically a fun-loving musician. He does have a dark side but you have to really piss him off to see it. He can be a little bit easily influenced by others. He's a tad conceited, but usually keeps that low-key because he tries to be charming.

Frank is easily depressed, though he generally keeps it to himself. If he gets really upset he might get drunk. But he's fiercely loyal to his friends.

Eileen is a little quiet and shy, though she enjoys the company of her friends and the occasional party. She likes to take care of people, and is basically a happy person. She can be a nasty fighter however if she or her friends are threatened.

If Reno and Vito's players could help me out it would be much appreciated.

You have two people listed as getting Frank's personality.

Reno is pretty laid-back and generally takes things in stride, though if something does piss him off, he will have no problems with saying something about it. He's loyal to his friends and protective of them, though in a sort of passive way. (Not that he has any friends here yet.) I wouldn't call him a happy person, but he gives that appearance most of the time--he can look at life and laugh at it.

I hope that helps. I find him a particularly difficult character to describe in some ways, but I think that sort of covers it. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm sure most of it goes without saying, because my characters wear their personalities on their sleeves, but I thought I'd try a hand at this too. xD

Sal (As Brandy) - I guess, just think of a horny, ditzy cheerleader. She's not a deep thinker and she prefers gossiping over getting intellectual. I know that Brandy is originally Sal, so if you think Tohru should feel slightly off in this personality - maybe feeling devious or dark or even, at times, bloodthirsty, it's totally natural.

Blythe - Really simple. Does not like shenanigans, speaks very properly, rather uptight. Any insecurities or worries are kept under a tight lid, save for worries of taking care of others.

Dorian - Has the mind of a child. Makes references to one's sunlight or darkness. Isn't likely to get angry, and if he does get upset, doesn't show it for long. Generally any feelings of negativity get channelled into introspection. Very inquisitive. Likes making pudding.

As stated before, yako is a sweetie. She wants to help other people, and she's very empathetic and smiles a lot.

HOWEVER. Yako is, in truth, a little depressed, and on top of her already insane appetite, she's developed an eating disorder. Yako has linked food with her emotions; she feels the need to eat when she's happy, and sad, and many other emotions. So, while Midvalley will not have her physical need of food, he will have an overwhelming mental urge to eat as much as he can, and then more.

He won't remember any of the reasons for the depression, but will make sure he's smiling; he won't want to worry anyone.

Henry: Is pretty simple. :D He's a quiet, thoughtful, introspective 'nice guy' with an affinity for architecture and old cars. He's pretty helpful, always tries to do what's right, and isn't entirely comfortable with much attention or having the spotlight on him. It takes a lot to get him to lose his temper, but he'll always get rage-y when people he cares about are targeted.

Maria: While Maria's often a bit snarky and stand offish, she hates to be alone and it's probably her biggest fear. She'd rather argue or fight with someone than be on her own, much as she'll gripe and complain about people. She does crave attention, unlike Henry. She's a tough woman, but temperamental, and has definite abandonment issues. She can be emotionally manipulative, but has very few reasons to be so.

Myre: Is a volatile ball of jealousy, egotism, rage and self-pity. She's extremely confident in her abilities, and has that sense that the 'world' has wronged her. She's condescending and bullying, and blames everyone else for everything. Nothing is ever her fault. She believes she's extremely intelligent, extremely powerful, and pretty much one of the greatest things to exist under the sun. She's also ridiculously malicious when she wants to be.

So um. I'll put how Rosa is, for whoever has her personality, just in case anyone isn't familiar with her and her personality.

Rosa is soft-spoken, caring, and can be stubborn on things she feels strongly about. She's also pretty protective over people she holds close and dear, and she always wants to help if she can. It takes a bit for her to get truly angry, though she can get frustrated if pushed enough (the frustration happens more often than the anger.) She's easy to smile too, if she's happy.

For those who got Jazz and Vader, and in case you wanted to know.

Jazz: He is easy-going and most of the time something of a 'nice guy'; has a tendency to use obscure pop culture and literature references when talking to or about people, or really anything at all; loves music; is very loyal once you've gotten his loyalty, but most 'causes' he considers something of a waste of time; for his thirds (translate: husbands) he would either die or kill for, mostly kill; if situations demand it can hold a grudge for a very long time.

Vader: His Force powers will most probably not switch to his personality's receiver, as they are dependant on his genetics; he is volatile, easy to anger, can hold a grudge like no other, truly believes that his empire is the way to save the galaxy, can be very obsessive and is a wiz with anything technological. He is also a tactitian, a consummate soldier and just plain hates incompetence in any form.

	Zefiris is generally quiet and nonsocial to the point appearing cold, but only because she lets social skills fall by the wayside while single-mindedly pursuing her goal of winning the war. She is slow to trust, but willing to show kindness especially to someone that she can relate to. Raziel may pick up a bit of technical proficiency when it comes to electronics. (Reply to this)

I think Kamina's personality is kind of a give-me since he doesn't make much attempt to conceal it, but really, one can never be too sure. Kamina is brazen, bold, confident in himself to the point of arrogance. He's pretty thoroughly convinced that he's a one-man army and isn't afraid to shout it out to anybody in hearing range.

He stubbornly refuses to back down from anything even remotely like a fight or challenge, even when it's painfully obvious that he's totally outmatched...he can be convinced but it takes supreme effort and reasoning.

Also, despite his ego, rather than express superiority toward others Kamina is the type of person who wants to encourage EVERYONE to step forward and attain greatness of their own. He hates sneaky or underhanded tricks, however, and he fiercely opposes anyone who tries to oppress or bring anybody else down.

Obviously, he's prone to using the catch phrase "Who the hell do you think I am?" Also feel free to note, the italicized staticky sounds that start his comments and postings are from an inexpertly-handled comm device given by Metatron, so those don't have to carry over.

...wow, that ended up pompously more windy than anybody else's. *finds a rock to slink under now*
