Who: Angel & Beth.
What: Moping about how much his life sucks. And maybe trying to locate Spike.
When: Week Seven. I don't really care what day or time, so if you have a preference, let me know.
Where: Inside Angel's office at first, then outside of it.
Status: Active.

Angel tilted his chair back and looked up at the ceiling with a sigh. He'd just spent the last few hours calling various contacts to see if anyone had caught a glimpse of Spike in the past week -- to no avail whatsoever, of course. Usually Angel had no problem finding the members of his bloodline when he put his mind to it, especially Spike, since he always made himself so damn obvious. But apparently Spike really didn't want to be found this time. Wherever he had run off to, he'd taken great care to hide it from Angel.

After taking a moment to press his fingers to his temples, he dragged himself out of the chair and headed for the office's door. If he didn't get away from this task for a while, he was liable to have an aneurysm any minute now. He locked the door behind him, then glanced around what had served as the lobby when the building belonged to Wolfram & Hart. Now it was just another room on another floor, which was fine by him because it meant fewer people had a reason to loiter around. By this week, he imagined word had spread of Spike's disappearance throughout the Pod, at least to anyone who cared. He hadn't encountered many people discussing the topic, but the few he did overhear had some interesting theories as to why the vampire had left, ranging from 'he ran off with a mysterious Slayer that none of us have ever met' to 'he decided to open an all-male strip club in Vegas.' Although really neither of those would've been particularly surprising had they been true. But he knew they weren't, because Spike had left with Riley and Angel had already checked Vegas. Maybe Atlantic City? Spike was just trashy enough that he'd probably like it there.

Who?: Doyle and Angel.
Where?: POD.
When?: Probably around two PM. He and Kali didn't wait very long before storming the castle, just long enough to gather a few weapons and find Doyle another boot.
Why?: Doyle was gonna rescue Angel and Cordy, duh. >_> He just got in a little over his head, and now he's being held in a back room until their Big Boss/Angel can see what the deal is about the random attack by a Brachen demon and a hellgoddess. Of course, the hellgoddess escaped, though. -leer-
Status: Ongoing.

Not much of that went as planned. )

Who: Wesley (Open to everyone)
What: Homecoming Time
When: Week Five, Day Two (afternoonish)
Where: the Pod, formerly known as Wolfram & Hart

---

"Everything's changed," he said to the woman on his arm. Marsha was looking around eagerly, taking in the new lobby as Wesley looked around and tried to re-orient himself. He'd imagined that when Marsha told him the building was still standing, that it would've been exactly the same as he remembered it. But it wasn't. The stairways were in different places, the style of the lobby was different, the plants and small trees were gone, even the elevator doors were stainless steel now instead of warm wood paneling.

"That's okay," Marsha murmured, rubbing her hand over his forearm. "You said Angel had an office here once upon a time?" she asked again, keeping her voice quiet as she directed his thoughts with her questions.

"Oh, yes, he did. Perhaps we'll start there. Harmony had a desk on the same floor, then there was a stairway with a landing up to the office. Hopefully that's still the case, if Angel is still here."

"He is, Wesley, we checked, remember? The driver came in last week and asked... some young girl that was running about, identified herself as a Slayer, whatever that means, and said that Angel was still in charge."

Wesley gave an impatient jerk of his head as they waited for the elevator. "No, I meant if Angel's office is in the same place."

Marsha didn't say anything to that, just followed Wesley onto the elevator once it arrived. When the doors opened again, the layout was the same as Wesley had remembered it, but that was all that was the same.

There were young girls, from teenagers up to young adults, milling around the landing. Some were laughing and talking, others jostled around him and Marsha to get to the elevators, even more were jogging up and down the stairs to the landing, going God only knew where. "Good Lord, it's true," he murmured, half-shocked. "I can't believe Angel is letting his building be overrun by the Slayers, especially after how shabbily Buffy and Andrew treated him over the last Slayer we captured."

Marsha quietly slipped her hand off his elbow and faded away into the woodwork--literally. Her body melded with the wood grain so that she was completely invisible, observing Wesley in the "new" enviroment.

Wesley was looking around, looking for a familiar face and hoping to see one sooner rather than later, because the sudden appearance of so many new faces, when he'd been expecting quiet and familiarity, was making him a bit light-headed. He hadn't even realized that his friend Marsha had disappeared, because he was rather too busy gaping at everything and everyone as he wandered over to what had been Harmony's desk, and took a seat behind it.

All her unicorns were gone, there was no sign of her pink feathered pen, even Angel's #1 Boss mug was gone. He ran his fingertips over the desk blotter, trying to pick up vibrations of what had gone on before, but the noise of the Slayers rambling in front of him was too much. He moved out from behind the desk and just stood at the base of the stairs, looking around curiously.

Who: Giles and Angel
What: Long-coming sit-down
When: Week Five, Day six
Where: Angel's office, POD
Status: closed, but active

This had been a long time coming.

Giles had not really sat and talked to Angel since... Jenny's death, really. They had worked together when the situation called for it, exchanged phone calls and information, but that was the extent of it.

Angel going over to Wolfram and Hart, that had been a shock. For Buffy's sake, more than anything else, he hoped that it had been a rumor, that he hadn't gone into the jaws of evil to do their dirty work. But finding him there, in the big office, that had been a shock.

The amulet had been enough of a surprise; no one had asked how Angel had gotten hold of it, although now he was certain that Angel had gotten it from the people who had used to use this building.

And now, though? He had the benefit of hindsight. The amulet came from Wolfram and Hart; it was possible Angel had been paying the price for the use of the bloody thing. But Angel had shown them all how wrong they had been. Rather, Angel had shown Giles how wrong he was.

He wasn't certain that he was ever going to trust Angel as deeply as he did others; he wasn't certain he could even look at Angel without remembering the cut of metal into his skin, the feel of his own hot blood coursing down his body. But he owed Angel several big apologies, one of them for that very thing.

So he waited outside Angel's office, waited for him to come in so that neither one of them would have a chance to escape before they came to some sort of understanding.
