Who: Buffy, Giles, Ethan When: Week Nine, Tuesday Where: The Pod, Giles' Place Status: Closed, but Active
Buffy had been desperately trying to avoid just about everyone--except one person in particular--for the past week. She had a feeling people would grow suspicious of the fact she was smiling a lot and generally looked happy, so she spent most of her time with a certain male away from the Pod or just in her apartment. Sure, she was a cheerful person for the most part, but lately she had been almost broodier than a certain vampire. And walking on cloud nine around everyone would just raise questions. Questions she wanted to answer so badly. Hell, she wished she could shout her feelings for Dean from the roof of the building. But, she was sort of caught in a ethical dilemma.
She was partly in charge around here and that meant the younger slayer generation was supposed to be looking up to her. So, obviously, dating a watcher could be a bit problematic. It's not like he was her watcher or anything, but she was sure someone might feel weird about it. She was fine with keeping it hush hush, since the two of them were pretty good at sneaking around without anyone noticing. But, she had to tell someone. She needed someone to tell her, Hey, it's okay, you two can date. But, she had a feeling she might get a 'hell no' from someone instead. And that someone, who she really had no idea how he would respond, was her own watcher, Giles.
So, she sucked it up and marched over to his place, knocking on the door. She bit her lip for a moment as she waited outside his room.
