Where: The Winters house.

Shiloh was Not Pleased. Her sister had been supposed to meet her where they always met in order to go home together on the Metro. Bea was generally good about meeting her there and going home before going out again. She knew that she and Nick had arranged for a movie date that evening but that had been after dinner tonight. Muttering to herself, she called Nick. Something was not right.

	He held her tight, kissed the top of her head while Brigid looked on in some amusement. Danu was a teenager at the moment? Well, that was likely to cause interesting issues. He was fretting, but doing his best to think of plans and not how much Danu was hurting right now. Though he suspected this was as much or more Shiloh missing her twin.

Marie shook Carole's hand, eying her as she did so. "Relax. I'm here to help if I can, not to burden your hospitality." And Danu's welcome brought a more genuine smile to her face as Brigid replied, "It's been a long time, mathair."

[For the sake of clarity: me, Ryn, Bethany? Also I badly need a Brigid icon for Marie now if one of you becomes so inclined. I need to kick boy to use bases what I have given him. Rrr.]

Bob looked at the newcomer with interest. Then at Ali. Something clicked in his brain. He smiled at her, facade fully in place. He was pleasant, he was charming and he really shouldn't do what he was thinking about doing. He should just wait until they found Bea and Ceara and...

Fuck it. "Get in my way and you won't know what hit you." He told Marie in a mild, friendly tone. He kicked himself, way to give away his need for control to anyone paying attention.

He wanted his sisters back and he wanted it now.

Brigid's lips turned up in something of a sneer. "Has having a penis really robbed you of all your sense, Badb? We have far more important things to worry about, such as where your sisters are."

And she really was worried.

Peter was staring at her, more than a little surprised and trying to place... ah. Her. "And if you were paying a bit more attention to outward appearances, you'd know that we have someone with probably quite useful ties both here and in Chicago. Wouldn't you say, Congresswoman?"

He got a thin-lipped grin for that. "I would say indeed."

Bob rolled his eyes and pulled out his cell phone. He lsitened to it ring twice before getting an answer. "Hey, Patrick this is Bob." Pause. Bob's face froze. "You're shitting me." Pause. "Which hospital?" PAuse. "Ok, the family's coming over. Of course we won't disturb her. Much. Fine, fine. Have you seen Bea?" Pause. Bob swore in Gaelic. "Yeah, I agree. See you." Bob put the phone away. "Who feels like a field trip to George Washinton Hospital?"

Peter nodded, the picture of calm to contrast Bob. Deliberately, probably. "I'll stay here; I know how to talk to cops." And he was back to standing on Danu's left, a slight crease in his brow. He elected not to bother giving Bob a response, since that was so clearly what the man was after.

Marie glanced at Ali for her cue. And also as a sort of I will kick BOTH your asses if you start something in the middle of this gesture.

Ali nodded, "I'll head to the hospital, Patrick and Ceara need family support and I'm no stranger to hospitals and the like." He turned to Marie, "Would you prefer to come with me, sweetheart? I can also drop you at your place if you want."

He walked over to hug Shiloh, "It will be well, Shiloh darling. All will be well. The people who did this will not go unpunished, for Macha and Morrigan's sake, we will see to it." He whispered into her ear. He smiled at her, "But now you must play the part of Shiloh the worried sister and not Danu, mother goddess. Much depends on it."
