It really was a beautiful day. And it was turning warmer, which was a nice plus.

She was taking a day off from work, a "sick day" which really meant sick of working. He was playing hooky from classes, which was almost expected by now. And here they were, playing the couple that everyone sighed over and went "aren't they such a cute couple."

And she was happy, and she was here with Asti, and... really, she didn't see how things could get any more glorious.

They couldn't. Well, not if you asked the taller, dark, and impossibly charming actor. Though he did have to wonder at times how much of his popularity was due to his skill as an actor, and now much was due to his unusual birth? Being adored by all could be such a burden sometimes.

"Nicky," he said softly, picking at a strawberry daintily as he considered everything carefully. He was not one to simply drop the 'love you' line and mean it. Which was opposed to those that only said it when they meant it. Perhaps it was more meaningful that he showed it in ways he'd never bothered with anyone else.

In his mind she was his Psyche. And he was allowed to love more than one. Ant might have been disappointed though.

"Are you happy?" There was an implied 'with me' in there.

	"Of course..." So perhaps, having it turned back on him, it was a stupid question. But he just wanted to hear her say it. Cupid had a rough history with wooing the ladies. 	She nibbled on the strawberry. Then she nibbled on his fingertips, smiling. "Well." She nuzzled a little at his neck. "People should feel this way. Good people deserve good things." And he was a good person, and so was she, no matter what anyone said. (Reply to this) (Parent)
