Tennis, anyone?

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Jack Harkness and OTA.
Where: The Tennis Courts of Here.
When: Daylight. That leaves it nice and open.
What: Tennis, anyone?

[[ OOC: And Slow-Time, folks, life being the way it is these days...]]

The seasons are changing, but Jack decided that wasn't going to stop him from dressing in tennis whites, reminiscent of the 1920's - isn't the Boutique amazing? - grabbing some tennis gear and setting up the ball machine on the far side of the court. Using the remote, he activates the unit and it starts lobbing balls toward him at a steady pace. He paces himself and pursues the balls, bouncing on his feet, white teeth gleaming in a smile of joy.

He's been looking for puzzle pieces for the last week. It was time to let out some of that frustration.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Obi-Wan Kenobi and OTA.
Where: The Woods of Here.
When: Dawn.
What: Meditation.

[[ OOC: And Slow-Time, folks, life being the way it is these days...]]

A man sat calmly in the woods of this strange pocket dimension - or wherever Here existed - his legs crossed, the backs of his hands resting on his thighs, palms up, eyes closed. His brown robes were draped over a nearby stump and he sat, in white sweat pants and T-shirt - the clothing he arrived in at the cleaners - losing himself in the trees around him, sensing the Force through the soil, the grass, the leaves that still clung to their branches.

A person might think it odd to be sitting in the woods in white pants - unless they moved closer and realized he was hovering about six inches above the ground.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight without a Master, without a Padawan, without peace to negotiate or anyone to guard or struggles to be settled, let his head drop forward as he concentrated his energy on learning everything he could about how this place worked.

and how he might be able to return everyone to their rightful homes.

Exercise is key...

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Robert O'Brien and OTA.
Where: The Fitness Room of Here.
When: Some afternoon or other.
What: Exercise is key...

[[ OOC: And Slow-Time, folks, life being the way it is these days...]]

Robert O'Brien doesn't have a show to prepare for, not as a dancer or a choreographer. He doens't have to worry about his weight the way he used to or even his level of fitness.

But he wants to.

He's been dancing more lately, working on some routines, just for the hell of it. Now he's standing in track pants and a T-shirt, uncharacteristically unshaven - because he hasn't just let it go for a while now - doing arm curls and swigging bottled water.

It's strangely liberating, to be back on track, though he doesn't look quite like himself, at all. He feels more relaxed than he has been in years.

And he's still waiting for that other shoe to drop.

Harvest (Abby Sciuto and OTA)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Abby Sciuto and OTA.
Where: The Greenhouse of Here.
When: Daylight. That leaves it nice and open.
What: Tomatoes, of course.

[[ OOC: And Slow-Time, folks, life being the way it is these days...]]

It was nearing the end of the season for Abby's valiant tomato plants, and she was picking what would be the close-to-last batch. She had a basket, about medium sized, because she only had six plants, after all. They'd done really well, though, and it made her very happy.

And she wasn't wearing black today. She'd opted for red - one of her other favourite colors - and she thought it was appropriate, because of the colour of the tomatoes.

"We match!" she'd told them upon her arrival. The plants hadn't objected to the statement, so she continued to talk to them while she picked them, about photosynthesis and biology and cross-breeding and this guy named Mark.

Anyone coming across her would possibly think she'd gone crazy, but if they knew her, they wouldn't be worried.

Tai Chi calms the soul, right? (Kitty Pryde/OTA)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Kitty Pryde and OTA.
Where: Side lawn of the Residence, just over there... no, the other side.
When: Let's narrow it down to a nice, autumn afternoon.
What: She's from the X-Men, so she's dealing with angst, because they're the best they are at what they do... ;)

[[ OOC: I'm having too much fun with this part, sorry. And Slow-Time, folks, as I seem to have very little time... ]]

Kitty Pryde was trying to accomplish several things at once. It shouldn't have been a problem, really. She was doing her Tai Chi on one of the side lawns in sweat pants and a T-shirt, hair in a ponytail, nothing to distract her. All she had to do was let the positions help her focus on her breathing, keep her thoughts clear -

And stop thinking about a guy made of magic who has disappeared...

She sighed. It wasn't working very well. She stopped, took a deep breath and let it out slowly before trying again.

New Arrival. Harmony Kendall and OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Harm and OTA (Spike, please)
When: Sunday morning.
Where:The lobby.
Status: Incomplete
Rating: TBD

Harmony was just beginning to get used to the idea of being Psycho Willow's pet Vampire. Even if she had a few tricks up her sleeve now. She was laying on her bed with all her favored possessions out. Her Manolo Bahlniks Butterfly Sandals, her fur coat and fur comforter, her Prada Black coat and matching purse with red pinstripes, black knee high boots, with five inch heels and zips up the side. Her five most favorite unicorn statues, one was made of real gold, silver and other precious gems. She was stretched out on her wood bed, sumptuous, with silk and sheer curtains and rods that held them up. She was bored playing with all of her goodies. Spike was evil now and back with Drudzilla. She did her gig as the semi good guy, pulling off gigs for the Scoobies, tele-portation rocked for that. She never told anyone that she made the deal with D'Hoffryn and it helped her in many ways to break up the boredom. No one assumed Harmony would be doing any good because she was the pretty house pet for team evil. She was so bored. That was when she found the puzzle and she began to play with it. One foot was wrapped up in the silk and sheers of the bed curtains, laying on her comforter with her fur coat on, a pink, silk nightie and pink five inch, heels. She had all of her unicorn statues laying up against her as she played with the puzzle, all secretly cheering her on until suddenly the last piece was slid into place, as she took a sip of her warmed up pig's blood in her 'I break for unicorns' coffee mug. When she looked up, her bed, her favored worldly possessions and herself were all sitting in the middle of this giant lobby of some resort.

"Like, O.M.G. where the hell am I? Willow, this is like, so not funny! Now you are like, playing pranks on me and stuff? I am totally worth more then this, I mean I even had my own gang once." She sighed and dropped her chin onto her crossed forearms and pouted. "Even if the Slay-whore killed them all, I was totally in charge and the get goer. Oh, why bother."

She looked around at anyone mulling around and grumbled. "Can like, anyone...ya know, help me here?"

Maureen OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Maureen was enjoying the last of the summer outside near the pool. She wasn't going to swim she had a pad and a pen resting on her knees and she was humming to herself before scribbling the occasional line to herself.

Lizzie Bennett OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Lizzie was adjusting, a little bit everyday and it had taken her a while to get used to being away from Jane especially.

She had taken to keeping a journal and noted down new things that she had learnt in it. She was reviewing this over tea and sandwiches in the pantry.

Lizzie chewed thoughtfully on the end of her pencil.

Simon Tam - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Simon, being new Here can decided to wander. He was carrying his medical bag which he'd brought with him and wandered into the Clinic. He took a look around the place for a moment wondering who was running this place, if he'd be able to find anything better to help River.

Cordelia Chase - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Cordelia wandered into the Boutique. She was loving all the free clothes and she had to go in and have another peek around to see if she'd spot anything that caught her eye.

Derek Shepherd - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Derek sat in Tea Leaves with a cup of coffee before him. He was glad of the Clinic as it gave him something to do but he still didn't know how to fill all his free hours. He took a sip of his coffee, sat back in the chair and thought about Martha and whether he should go ask her if she wanted to go for another swim, or a walk or something.

Buffy Summers - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
It was late at night and Buffy was bored. She was used to not sleeping much so she wandered the halls until she reached the pool. She walked in the door and was greeted with the smell of chlorine. She started to pull of her clothes thinking a dip in the water would be nice and she didn't suspect many people would come to the pool at this time of night. She ran her hand over the water before she walked down the steps and lowered herself in. She began with a few good strokes.

Lucas Scott - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Lucas was at the basketball court with the ball Layla had given him. He dribbled the ball and made shot after shot. He threw the ball and it went in. He didn't think about it, didn't question it, it was just the way it was and he thoroughly loved the game. He was wearing the jersey of his Ravens uniform and sweet pants.
