A nice day, Martha had decided, required iced tea. Only this time, she thought, ones that didn't have alcohol in them.

With a snort to herself, she set her finished drink down, and lay back on the towel that served as her surface for a bit of sunbathing, closing her eyes and soaking up the rays in a bikini top and shorts - namely the shorts she'd gotten the day she'd run into Jack at the Boutique and had him critique their fit. Not that there'd been much critiquing...

She had to give Here a bit of credit; the chances that she'd ever get a break from Torchwood long enough to do this were just about non-existent. No more thinking, she decided at that point. Just lots of enjoying the warm sun against her skin.

	Gwen had somehow wandered outside with a book in hand, but this time dressed in jeans and a simple but very her tee shirt. "Company?" she finally asked Martha as she set her own glass of iced tea nearby. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Derek was taking a walk. He'd spent a lot of time in the clinic recently and decided a nice walk in the sun was in order. He had an iced latte in hand when he spotted Martha sun-bathing. "Hey, you mind if I join you?" he asked with a warm smile. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Martha nodded in agreement, just barely noticing the look Derek gave her, and she smiled softly. After all, when a gorgeous man noticed Martha, Martha always noticed back. 	"Sure," he said. He got up. "Two hours," he said. He walked back inside and to the Boutique and looked for swimming trunks. He located a pair in liked and brought them to his room. He hung around there for a while and then put them on under this clothes. He grabbed a towel and headed out to the lake to met her again. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Martha smiled as he left, and spent another hour and a half in the sun before she finally got her things together so she could meet Derek by the lake. She got there first and, as she waited, she took off the shorts she wore, setting them aside with her towel. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
