Open to Robert O'brien.
Ana has no home to go back to, so she goes to find Robert. She is taking a leap of faith here, but she is going to go with him. even if they must go separate ways once there.

"Worried?" Robert held her tightly and stroked her hair with one hand. "God, Ana, I can't imagine being without you. Of course I want you to come back with me."

He knew she didn't have a world to return to, but that wasn't the main reason he invited her. After all the scheming of his friends to get this thirty-five-year-old actor/choreographer married off, he felt he'd finally found the right person for him.

And all he'd had to do was complete a puzzle and be transported to another universe.

When she said that she loved him, he closed his eyes and, somehow, managed not to shout the roof off.

"I love you, too," he whispered.

"I really didn't have a lot when I came here and I only wore specific clothes in the clinic. I have some winter clothes, summer clothes, dressy clothes, my guns and ammo, my diary, a few books I took from the library and the money I showed up with, my toiletries and that is it. I figure I could buy whatever else I need when we get where we are going. Wait, where are we going?" Ana asked him gently, checking the four bags she had with her to make sure she had everything packed that she could possibly even need. She still even had the skates she practically lived in the winter.

	Ana looked perplexed for a moment and then she looked embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I, uh, you are teasing, aren't you. I just, I don't want you to feel like you have to take care of me. "Yeah, I'm just teasing you, sweetheart. You can bring all you like. It's all going to blow up, apparently, anyway, so I rescued a few more items from the boutique and so on. Also took a menu from each restaurant. They list some of the ingredients on the dishes and I'd like to try and recreate them once we get home."

Robert took hold of one of her hands and said, "It'll be your home, too, you know. If you'll have me, baby."

	Robert held her tightly and kissed right back, delighted and a little overwhelmed by it all. He was going home. he was bringing Ana with him. It didn't get much better than that. When the kiss ended, he said, "My bags are just here." He nodded to the couch, which had quite the luggage on it. "As you can see, I have a few things to bring with me, too." 	Ana laughed a soft, but hearty laugh when she saw he had more then she did. "Do you mind if I hit the boutique and library before we go? He stared at her briefly, then threw his head back in a hearty laugh.

"God, I love you! Sure, let's do it. The place is going to blow up, so if there's anything you want to rescue..."

Robert placed one finger on his chin. tapping it there. "We'll need luggage. No, wait. There'll be bags at the boutique. We can't go too crazy, though. I'll need one hand free to hold you and the other free to touch the cube."

Ana smiled when he began to laugh, she ducked her head and laughed herself.

"Yeah? Excellent, be a shame for it to all go to waste, right? Babe, have you forgotten?" Ana pointed toward herself and grinned, "E.R. nurse, we have to carry some pretty heavy people on a regular basis, there may be a few of us, but you build up some muscles. I can carry them, just load me up, lap too and I am sure whatever we are touching collectively will come back with us? Huh? Right, you know I'm right?" Ana said with a chuckle.

Robert grinned.

"Of course! ER nurses can handle anything. I hadn't forgotten, not really. We'll load you up like a luggage cart and - Hey!" He snapped his fingers. "Maybe there's a luggage cart. That'd help."

He took hold of her hand and tugged her toward the door.

"C'mon, let's go get some stuff. We'll be back in plenty of time to get out of here - well, Here - before the deadline. I am so looking forward to showing you New York, sweetheart."

Ana grinned back at him.

"Yes, yes we can...Oh no, except for the fact that I am going to have to go back to New York, no one is going to be able to hire me. I have no references, I have nothing. I am going to have to start from scratch. SHIT! I really hope they have more then a few first editions for me to sell so that I can get the cash to start all over. Robert, what am I gonna do?" Ana sounded defeated.

Robert tugged her to the door and she willingly followed him.

"Okay, first things first, let's do this, right." Ana plastered a smile on her face then. No use thinking on it, just yet, anyway.
